BEING LATE

One of the scourges common to businesses and friendships is that of people being late. It's not only disrespectful it's bad in every way possible as it lets others down and stops the smooth flow of life itself. If a cog in a watch no matter how big or small stops then it all stops. Similarly if others place a responsibility upon you as an individual then you either uphold it or be forever viewed as one who can't / won't uphold their part of the bargain. And before those who are late perpetually start to wriggle with annoyance 'blame culture' doesn't hold water either. Yes, there are at times mitigating circumstances where even the most die hard and studious person who always arrives early arrives late one day, but the circumstances pertaining to their enforced late arrival can be counted on one hand and are usually very exceptional. We all know of people who just can't keep to time, perpetually late or last minute or whatever besets or befalls them they just have a list of ready made excuses as to why they "had to do this" or "cut it so fine" as not to allow any safe margin whatsoever so pro-occupied with themselves and their thoughts that what is around is either secondary or less important.

The crucial matter for lateness is not traffic, accidents, weather, invasions from Mars and Venues, it's not even the alarm clock not going off for those that deem they need to be there get there, those that have to be there for whatever reason place secondary importance again on the delivery of themselves as it's a chore more than responsibility.  If one is late for work phoning from the "cell phone / mobile phone" doesn't make it all right, it may show a degree of courtesy should one be able to advise of late arrival but it doesn't admonish the responsibility factor nor does it do anything else - you are late - full stop. There is always a cause for lateness over and above circumstances en-route that one cannot help, illness, bereavement, children, etc, but if children are an on-going common cause that's not acceptable as the world doesn't revolve around your problems and it needs resolution.

The causes of lateness are usually of a psychological nature even if it's perpetually cutting it all too fine and not allowing for delays en-route. Are you happy with your work, or are you happy with the destination that you have an appointment with, even if it's the dentist or a hospital appointment, or an interview or a court appearance or whatever it may be. As a member of the human race you have a responsibility not only to yourselves but those around you too, and that has nothing to do with self concocted ego, arrogance and the 'what's in it for me' attitude for if any of these latter aspects creep into your thoughts you have a problem looming large. You ARE the problem. If you don't like where you work or dread work or dislike those who are at your work it speaks volumes about you and not your work. Understandably it's not always that easy to change jobs especially at certain times where the financial climate is weak and jobs are scarce, but if you respect your income no matter what it is then you should uphold who you are otherwise by default you make yourself worthless and that has very bad connotations that will eventually ostracise you by your own volition from many aspects of life.

Blame culture, lax attitudes, lack of self respect, negative emotions at the forefront of your mind, small mindedness, pre-occupation with yourself, lack of respect for others, lack of purpose, insularity of mind, lack of focus, lack of priorities, etc are all contributory factors as to lateness especially those who are perpetually late. Lazy environments, i.e.people you work or live within who share the same social banal culture and talk about lateness as a topic, which exists and share their lame excuses and think it's clever. Late arrival usually starts with an apology, think about it, starting anything with an apology isn't good it puts you under par before anything has started and it usually lowers concentration often resulting in a lower performance and hurried thoughts which causes mistakes and lack of concentration. In some areas the smallest of mistakes can cause death or mayhem, just because perhaps your position in life isn't so critical it gives you no leeway to take matters into your own hand. You are paid for what you do not what you don't do.

SPIRITUAL OSMOSIS

It appears today that more and more people are calling themselves "spiritual" in the wake of "man made religions", Islam getting out of hand and so very unstable, and others not delivering the goods. We don't see any benefits from any of the Gods that these people worship in any way because the basic credential for any believer is for them to believe and they don't. They base their belief on rhetoric and parrot fashion learning and of course fear, rules and regulations that hold back as opposed to encourage. So many people of these religions are full of anger and hatred, the conduit to God is through love and love alone, and evil masking love is like a wolf in sheep's clothing, it produces unrest and more devastation and evil. It is not good enough to "praise God" when things go well and when say "it must be a lesson" when it doesn't, because that's not true and it's make believe, brought about by failure and deceitful preachers who have no more contact with God than a Camel turd. Everyone who believes has contact, those that don't believe don't, you make your choices based upon whatever you feel "floats your boat" but in the end times if you are wrong you're nothing.

We then get the "New Age mob" those that talk about "nice things" but are all screwed up and look perpetually ill. Often seen hovering around health food stores and meetings of the pathetic and lost seeking more stories and information to enhance their journey into weirdness. Lastly, there are those who call themselves "Spiritual" (whatever they think that means) because they pretend not to believe in God (but they do a bit) preferring to believe in some supreme force or energy and they call that the Universe. They often come out with "if you put goodness into the Universe it will pay you back kindly" - where on earth that came from who knows, but then it says a lot about them too. Usually their attitude is whet and ineffectual, being on the fence no opinion one way or another and it i's a cop out between no I don't believe and "just in case" I do, a foot in both camps.

Spirituality is a state of mind, not just a set thought it is an actual state, very few actually have that state to apply their life by and thus the vast majority are just wandering around with a theoretical concept as opposed to something tangible that produces benefits. It fills 'that' box when it states Belief / Religion? Of course being "Spiritual" one must know the route to take, so many see a whimsy version of "Spirituality" as being good and kind and nice and believing in the "universe, etc, all of which is not incorrect. It is like believing in "Superman" sounds good, represents good, but doesn't exist. It is harmless to have 'spiritual' thoughts but it doesn't provide a purpose of merit, in real times of woe goes nowhere fast. In order to gain a "spiritual" access to life and what else it may hold, there must be something of a sincere nature to want it to happen otherwise one will like religion go through the motions talk endlessly about it and be no better off. A bit like having an  Mp3 player that just holds the information and no more.

Life for some, religion makes a world of difference both the parrot fashion brigade who are stoic and dumb as well as the open and true who can feel the access. The power of the mind is really incredible and when one has a belief of unlimited power then the road is always open to endless possibilities without the "wow factor" interfering. Often what scientists seek to know rarely happens as they interject logic en-route which immediately stymies what they are seeking. It's strange that many atheists / agnostics get upset when talking about religion or God (any one) whereas it shouldn't be an interest, like people talking about sport to those that can't stand it. Whatever your beliefs they are yours and it is no one else's business after all if you don't' believe there is nothing to say and if you do believe it's between you and God no one else. Life is about love, God is about love, evil or the devil is about bad, so here we have a commonality at a common level. Evil and killing can't be an aspect of religion otherwise it becomes devil worship, and after all if your God or it's followers kill what is the devil supposed to do other than be pleased that he has more workers afoot?

THE AGE OF GREED AND DECEPTION

Our life, our world, our environment etc is in a constant state of flux, forever changing and often by forces outside of our control. Much of our everyday life we have some degree of ability to change the rest we must steer our own ship the best way we can to overcome and bypass the obstacles that seem to evade our radar and loom large right in front of us all of a sudden causing us to wobble a little. The good news is that we are in reality quite resilient people despite the setbacks and despite the consternation and sleepless nights we do overcome and we live to tell the story. Another day dawns and history is just that a memory of yesterday for tomorrow is where we are forever moving towards.

The commercial world is similarly going through a turmoil of its own, however in this case it's not world conditions or "Acts of God" or catastrophes these conditions are well and truly man made. Created by the deceit and greed of a 'few' in order to supply their need at the expense of others who have basically "trusted" the few to honor a commitment to uphold their hard earned funds. What banking was was a "gentleman's profession" has indeed turned out to be a triumvirate of divisive cohorts comprising of financial, legal and marketing professions scraping through the corridors of 'barely legal' in order to extract monies from gullible clients. However it doesn't stop there, American companies lead the way to greed and subterfuge followed very closely by the rest of the world. Spam, free downloads, unbundling, etc, are on the increase with no morals nor compunction for the punter caught in the middle. Where once when you bought something that was it, today what you buy is the start of a seemingly endless "ad hock" "designer version" so to make it what you really need you have to buy endless "add ons" all at a cost of raising the price for as many others as possible in the process getting a cut of your cash.

The levels of trust and peace of mind are getting out of hand, subliminal unease is starting to percolate through society even to the point of not trusting your local authority as the well being of the community seems to be governed by a few who have stilted and narrow views and often appear to do what they want as opposed to what is expedient to all. Internet sites run "Lite" products yet boast of fabulous facilities and the moment you click on the site you are "Bombarded" with endless "Upgrade" popups, it's all a "sprat to catch a mackerel".  Yes people are entitled to make money and yes life has a cost value too, but it has gotten to the point where value and trust are secondary components, with lack of humanity that is in evidence rather than the quality of the product. There's much talk about the "experience factor" but that "Experience factor" varies from that which emanates from the seller to that which is experienced by the buyer and in many cases it's a disappointment in that what you thought you were getting now costs five times more and you not only don't want to pay the extra or possibly can't afford to but you have lost interest in it too. Result gross disappointment. Commerce isn't what it used to be - by and large, especially in companies that train operatives to try and stop you going any further with your problems or claims etc. Deceit attracts deceit.

How we go through life is largely down to ourselves, so we have to put a brave face on every day so as not to fall into a downward spiral which for some is unfortunately all too easy. Holding on to negativity isn't a solution, despite what happens We need to respect ourselves and if we don't like something then either vote differently or go elsewhere, it does work eventually as you will not be alone even if you think it's only happening to you - it's not. Societies have been toppled of recent date, companies brought to their knees, situations changed dramatically, but only you can make a difference to your standing, or not as you may think "why should I" and their lies your true value to yourself.

FINDING THE SIGNAL IN THE NOISE

All around us is noise of some sort, whether it's the neighbours children, traffic, aircraft flying over, loud music, etc, whatever it is there whether we hear it or not. On the other side of the audible spectrum there resides another dimension in sound one that has defined purpose as well as other random sounds too, but for ourselves this organised noise is what makes life for us what it is today. It's the invisible signal noise of radio, television, internet, our mobile phones, our remote control units, sat nav, and the rest it's all there on designated frequencies doing what its supposed to do. In between that the ambient noise or white noise exists, it's the stuff that we can hear and something we either love or not, country dwellers experience different ambient noises from those living in the cities and by further definition those living near railways and airports experience variants within all of that, etc. The world in which we live we is bombarded by advertising all promising the thought of something better, success, keys to this n' that, instant point scoring, increase your rating, get your business more aware, nay for a small fee the secrets of the universe will uncovered by - whoever, it's all there if we choose to look, and if we don't choose to look they are there to tell us anyway. We are a brilliant and boastful and deceitful society mixing a little of this, a little of that and with a bit of strategic marketing until it all comes together as "today's flavour" an elixir that everyone just 'has' to buy, all very California. Which is not to say it doesn't work, but what it doesn't bring into its algorithms are the times lines and numerous coefficients that actually stop it being a run away success, as most products" have like pre-packed food a shelf life after which it doesn't go off as such but becomes superseded by an updated model, by another creator, definitely very California.

There is a purpose and a success trail for all of us, and whilst latching on to others formulas and strategies which may coincide or assist us with what we are doing we can if not careful get bogged down in areas which are not conducive nor creative to what we are doing, even if in themselves they are fabulous. There is a degree of uniqueness about each and every one of us whether we allow this to shine or keep it behind locked doors is down to us. Our uniqueness is very real, we can hear the voice of our partner or friend over and above all others if close by, and if we really try we can hear other information too that many just allow to pass by. Similarly if we seek a trajectory in life or a way forward it must be something that resonates well even if initially we are the only ones to see it, which is often the case. Within the "white noise" there is "our pathway" our own unique signal that no amount of promotion or advertising will help secure or bring around success, if what we are aiming for doesn't have that resounding feeling and resonance then it will just be something that's smart or good but goes no further, and how many times have we all seen that, and indeed perhaps with our own projects not proceeding as wished.

In the space arena stations are all over the world listening for those feint sounds that will indicate a potential, we can hear noises in our car when it goes wrong, and indeed surveillance systems listen for those extraordinary sounds over and above the backdrop of commonplace to decipher and deceminate tell tale areas that give knowledge and advantage. Out there waiting to help us all become rich and famous are those who for a fee will 'tell all' their systems, (or rather unlock a bit at a time costing each step of the way) unleashing designer understanding, knowledge, methodology, schemes, etc, which will enable us to reach  where we think we need to be or if greedy desire. For many their desire is possibly a step too far even if what they do is commendable, it's a bit like driving a normal car 'off road' whereas a 4x4 would have been the best option. It's these nuances and differences that sometimes just can't take in or accommodate differences that even experts don't see or want to see for fear themselves of losing a sale. If what we do is inherent then we would 'see' the little things that are likely to accelerate where we need to go, or have some catalytic action and within that 'white noise' we would both see and feel that pathway which others would completely miss out or be oblivious of.

DATING SITES - AN ENTERTAINMENT IN ITSELF

Even the top dating sites today and there are dozens of new versions springing up every week boast of only about 5% success rate so what happens to the other 95% who join, who are they, what are they and what are they looking for, surprisingly it's not always a date. Dating sites are becoming more personal versions of the social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter but with a more intimate twist, the myth that dating sites are specifically honed to producing a mate are just that, the law of averages puts all that firmly into place as does the fact that "personal chemistry" is something that can't be commercially applied to data. From the outset there's always a fascination about dating sites in that people whether coupled or single like to know or feel that "others" like or find them attractive, it's a boost to the ego, so if you have an ego that's pulsing then you are already a candidate for those who "just like to see" or "find out" for no other reason than you can. The beauty about personal dating sites is that it's there 24/7 and you can follow your "You have mail" replies from your mobile / iPad / tablet or PC whenever you like, it's always exciting to see that someone somewhere has responded even if it isn't that brilliant a response.

The trouble with most people is that they have perceptions about themselves and of course, ego, anger, skepticism, arrogance, fear, failure and degrees of down right stupidity, as well as a varying level of intelligence that take the edge of accuracy, however that very essential if not crucial thing called "common sense" needs to be in abundance. Either have it or you don't your educational levels mean nothing if you haven't got common sense. So many people get so easily flattered and taken in by the first few words of endearment that they fail to see past them and respond accordingly, from that moment on the other person knows you are  potential "game". And even if you respond with a crude and acerbic reply because that's the crude acerbic person you are it gives them a challenge to try and woo you over, and that often works too, in fact crude acerbic people are their own downfall, but there again so is arrogance and that has no base levels and the pit is bottomless.

Not having a partner or able to find one is of course a prime factor in joining a dating site, but then so is loneliness (which is perhaps the biggest reason) and there onwards finding "like minded" others at whatever level is entertaining, and game for what you can develop thereafter. You can liaise with your dating sites and "contacts", especially when you get home late, get ready for bed and in the privacy of your own home chat about whatever you like until you decide enough is enough until tomorrow.  As long as you pay your monthly fee (after all it's a commercial concern not a benevolent site for your best interest) off again you go until tomorrow. It fulfills a purpose, it passes away the time it does give a degree of emotional satisfaction even if hollow in nature and the chance to commune with 1000's of potential people is exciting. For some On Line Dating is a way of life, their whole focus shifts from being lonely to being reclusive in that they now rarely don't go out at all so fixated are they with strangers and possibly established contacts exchanging degrees of correspondence.

In the On Line world there are the liers, cheats, sex addicts, the deceitful, scammers, chasers, fetish merchants, game players, entertainers, the lost, the bewildered, psychopaths, the unstable, the neurotic, weirdos, the desperate, egotists, freaks, some nice people, and of course the lonely as well as those who are there to pray on the unsuspecting and feeble to solicit money by their hard luck stories - and it works well. All this 95% latter group of people make up who are there on the dating site presumably all having inaccurately filled in the questionnaire seeking a perfect mate. Unfortunately people aren't even honest with themselves so from day one there is a discordance with whom they are and what they seek, based predominantly on a modified ideal as opposed to an honest base and accurate self. The chasers seek to chase compliant contacts but never want to meet - this gives them the buzz, this accounts for many transactions, even those who often don't really like each other correspond because they can and it gives some degree of mutual support even though much of it is lies and empty content. It's better to have a few people "on the go" than nothing, there's nothing worse than going to your mail box" to see it empty or not signed to say "you have mail". It's a psychological thing that many in particular women need to have to feel involved, even if disappointment is the on going feeling. However after a while disappointment turns into a "game" and that game becomes for many habitual and one then turns most into an expert in answering and reading into profiles and messages which even further on takes the "Dating Game" to another level. It's almost now like "on Line Gaming" where skill in judgment takes over from sincere passion and lust is but a point scoring bonus.

MIND GAMES

Mind games are not nice, it has to be said, games are fun, but mind games literally destabilise us, cause us to think weird thoughts, do weird things and worst of all start to scheme ourselves about things we shouldn't be even thinking about. The broad spectrum of mind games is far reaching in that it encompasses just about everything around us and inter-reacts with how we view life and those we care about and those we don't much care about in life too. It's not as if we are deceitful, although some are, it's we like to play safe with as much of life as we can because we can steer our own ship but we can't stop what's around us, the bits out of our control from happening and causing potential problems, and they do. We tell many a little white lie from a genuine concern for the truth as at times it would spoil a whole host of decisions and open up a can of worms which would or could have far reaching implications that would not be worth the end result. We can even feign that we have forgotten our partners birthday only to reveal that we have laid on a fabulous dinner with the chocolates, champagne, flowers and whatever else there is to follow, so it's all done with the very best intentions and like many a white lie there is no ulterior motive for personal gain or subterfuge of any description. Although having said this it's not an advert to go around telling white lies as if it's an OK thing to do, as like any habit, it doesn't stop there.

We play mind games with our young children to coax them into doing things or usually stop doing things as they are often quite mindful and wilful in what they do or perceive has an end result, even if they can't quite fathom out what it is. We play mind games with our friends often playfully mentioning certain "buzz words" that we know will "get them going" but as it's done playfully we both get away with it and to some extent they allow it to be a part of the "knowing" friendship that has evolved and has no malice of forethought nor anything else. We are all different and there isn't a base standard as what one sees and does and thinks it's "cool" others almost shudder at the thought of it all. The very worst mind games however have to be those of emotional blackmail, and here women have the edge at times as some can at the drop of a hat feign tears and upset to try and not only get noticed but to solicit sympathy and get their own way. Moodiness can affect everyone should they allow it and it's a manifestation of nothing more than pure unadulterated selfishness. In fact as e get a high from being happy the same self same effect can be achieved but from a negative stance from being unhappy especially if its self induced. The body secretes hormones that gives us a feeling that many wallow in and thus pout and become sullen and irascible and introverted with outward developed signs as if to attract attention for pity and solace, whereas it's nothing more than a manifestation of real selfishness and deceit and should not be entertained in any way.

Relationships falter because of mind games as do businesses too. There comes a point in both where the recipient starts to see the bigger picture and reverts from being the victim to the victor and starts to move on. You can only give someone the power to overcome you or influence you if you allow it otherwise it's 'water off a ducks back' an no matter how many unpleasant things are thrown at you if you don't catch them you've already won the game. Unfortunately many people allow ego to interject and just can't keep their mouths closed and reply so now it's like a tennis game, ping poning too and from whereas if you'd caught the ball and walked away - game over. Life is what it is, so it's imperative that we make it as easy for ourselves knowing than ANY negative emotions is going to cause a raised feeling of lowness somewhere down the line. As Gandhi put it well "The weak can never forgive, Forgiveness an attribute of the strong", and this can be seen throughout the world especially with some religiously based cultures. Playing games with life is just that, it's manipulation that always has consequences, if those around you are prone to such things, stay clear, no excuses, you deserve better so achieve it for yourself and allow others to enjoy a better quality of life via their relationships.

ONE SCENE - THREE VIEWS

What truth there is today in what we read or hear varies enormously and how the facts are defined are usually more about who is saying what than the physicality of it as it is all so biased. There are predominantly three types of reporting or stating the facts all carefully designed to reflect the views of who is saying what and how they would like you to think of them. There is the political reporting from a politician, then there is the media reporting and then there is the personal reporting which can also vary enormously depending upon your degree of understanding or how hysterically defined you are yourself. The political view point say to the war in Afghanistan as a point in question is "We are going to overcome Al Queda restore Democracy and give power back to the people allow them to manage their own affairs" etc, which is rubbish as it won't happen in this century in Afghanistan, but that's political rhetoric (even if well meant) living in cookoo land. Then there is the media version on Afghanistan, "To date thousands have died people are without water and electricity is erratic in that the power supplies cannot cope with demand. Life is full of daily suicide bombers causing untold grief and anxiety etc", and so it goes on outlining all that's bad and inhuman which in an Islamic state is not difficult. Then there is the personal delivery and that you make up for yourselves as it can vary and you are a part of that variance and hold opinions yourself even if they are wrong from a total lack of defined knowledge. Most people think they are right based upon very little real understanding, but that's OK we all know that and as you have to live with your opinions that's OK too.
But where does it leave us all, getting so much confused information none of it totally inaccurate but all very biased and contrived. How do we assimilate it all and how far does it go to getting a decent picture of what is really happening, because political statements will veer well away from any negativity, media statements will highlight it, neither will meet in the middle, and the public will say what they want depending upon their pre-formed bias anyway. Life goes on and we have to do what we have to do but the very worst thing that can happen is that we become "armchair experts" like the political marionettes in the television debate programmes, all seemingly holding accredited positions and all constantly not daring to be totally honest for "fear of reprisals" and all getting it consistently wrong. It comes under entertainment so that's what it is. But as individuals we need to understand a degree of real truth, not a truth that harbours elements that is "not spoken about" but a truth that's less biased and covers a cross section of information not a heavily weighted section that is more likely to gain attention, even though like any news today it's all so hyped adding to the drama via their over stated failed Hollywood pros that it is all akin to a fashion of wallpaper rather than what it's meant to be. Where others suffer grief its fodder for the media, it's the basis of a news programme nothing more and one atrocity is moved on to another and then another, without them there wouldn't be any news at all, or it would be good news and that's the last thing stations want.

We can't help but pick up from the ambient wallpaper of the backdrop of life, we are observant to a degree and we have to meld that in with our own life and how if at all it affects us and where we are likely to go. After all we are the masters of our own ship and we have to steer it through a whole range of different tides, weathers and obstacles that are in our lives ahead of us, so it's only expedient that we want as much peace as possible in every area of our lives. And as war costs a load of money it makes the economy less vibrant and produces as a degree of melancholy too as death is almost an inevitable side effect. Our understanding in life is what makes a country what it is, hence Africa and the Middle East are incredibly biased towards a negative life that they bring on much of their own demise especially if it's religiously intertwined, almost the kiss of death itself. The happiness of a nation is reflected in the people, the people reflect their lives and what they know, if what they know is wrong they will in turn give out wrong signals and eventually the gap between right and wrong will cause a disruption that will bring on disharmony. When talking make sure what you say has truth in it an not just an opinion on it as the more you say something the more you will become attached to it and if the subject moves on you won't. Bias is a part of life, make sure that you are not taken in even with what resonates well within you or suites your way of thinking otherwise you'll end up out on a limb and the happiness factor will cease to flow.

THE FUTURE FOR MANKIND

It's quite the vogue right now to talk about the future of planet earth and listen to all the scientific jargon pertaining to it. It's actually a field day for scientists to enter the boxing ring punching out theories based on all sorts of statistical data and hypothetical conjecture and extrapolations that it's becoming a circus of intellectual entertainment more than a reality concept. Most theories now are backed up by vested interests, that is those that are stating their case have sponsors whether governmental or commercial and many have indeed political backing too which makes it all the more dubious as to any validity whatsoever. Then we have the religious cranks, idiots and morons who are forever predicting the end of the world and those soothsayers who delve into mystical events of the past and link it with today and come up with some sort of Hollywood based concept ready for the next blockbuster called "Tomorrow In Sight". The icing on the cake are the media whores who love anything to do with negativity, strife, pestilence, death etc as they can go to town and put a spin on it all that even the Devil himself would be proud of, whether it's remotely true or not is immaterial today, morals are nasty words that get in the way of much of journalism and are thus ignored.

Many of the world governments have agreed on carbon offsetting as a way to reduce emissions etc, which is basically a good thing, however in the usual government ineptness and the lost and bewildered they employ to draw it all up revenues on commercial organisations and services have been levied to help fund this process. Such levies have increased prices substantially and instead of them doing what they say they do, offset carbon by forestation etc. They are now trading as a commodity themselves "carbon trading" and thus profiteering is made on the whole project which is an underhanded way of consumers funding businesses by default for which they themselves as contributors financially have no benefit. If governments were in charge of sea water there wouldn't be any left within 6 months.

The truth to global longevity is relatively simple in that there are two things to consider. Firstly planet earth itself and secondly the human race. The first situation is also relatively simple in that whatever we do to "mother earth" it will survive, it has done for millions of years and come through the most massive raging fires and incredible ice ages that man could not have survived, and in doing so each times has revived itself and it's still here and we will not be. So that's one thing to understand. The second is us humans on planet earth, how are we going to survive when fossil fuels run out and the stability of nuclear fuels and its subsequent waste starts to mount up in alarming quantities. As a race we are survivors but already there is a significant shift in how people are living and how countries are faring and it's all rather negative. Life is now in a metamorphic state. The "third world" and that includes the middle east will unfortunately and relatively get worse, despite the oil rich middle east at present, take away the oil and there's nothing left, and anything which has a majority Islamic content is prone to gross failure. Even currently there isn't one stable Islamic country on planet earth and what there is is despite what is termed as the Arab Spring the prelude to ongoing insecurity, injustice and turbulence a demise of its own making. However the validity of all religions will come under scrutiny as to what they mean and how they have veered off course via man's own self interests, and self imposed structures that are not of any God driven doctrine, mayhem will increase in this area for a while. Some of the larger global religions such as Catholicism will undergo radical change beyond current thoughts and revert to how it should be an not as a religious industry it is now with weak management and grossly insipid leadership with an entourage of useless followers on.

Sustainability is how the population if to continue needs to progress to, and it will, at least in the West where creativity and ingenuity is its homeland trait. Where man has had to find solutions He has, and where there is a creative environment it's almost an endemic part of the thought process. The terrible Tsunami that hit Japan a year ago, just suppose it hit the Middle East or Africa, they would never recover because the mentality of the population are just not capable of individual thought by and large, so used to relying on 'others' that they are almost impotent in their abilities to do anything themselves. But even in the West there will be an enormous shift in how people perceive others and how both information and deliverance of life and it's products are administered where regulatory bodies will becomes established with great force as opposed to the somewhat watered down associations they are today. For a while greed will become almost epidemic as it is now until a 'tipping point' is reached and it will then be uncomfortable for those who reside in certain areas to exist with a freedom that they enjoy today, even though many others will have increased wealth and be able to enjoy it. Over the next twenty years much will change, not visually but within the thought patterns of society and governments will adhere more to "local content thought" than  that which is almost dictatorial today or "advised" by information seekers who get it wrong as they daren't say what they feel. Exciting times ahead, enjoy every moment the metamorphasis had just begun.

THE WEREWOLF EXPERIENCE

Doesn't it appear today that nothing is exactly what it seems, that adverts selling things tell you how cheap they are then the small print ties you into subscription in order to be able to take advantage of such things. Telecoms companies are like that, disingenuous, greedy and deceitful. Cable companies woo you into what they have to offer yet to really enjoy it you have to almost pay a third or more to get what reaches the satisfactory level of comfort and possible usage. Every commercial company is at it, advertise cheap fares yet unless you can book 20 years in advance and take the first morning trip and come home on the last you are no better off at all. It's all small print and exclusions and omissions and not valid and exceptions and whatever else marketing can find to rip you off and try and call premium packaging to make you believe it's all worth while. Food manufacturers show large pictures of food on boxes and increase the size of their packaging to make you believe you are getting more whereas it's often less so that more profit can be made via the fickle punter. It's becoming dog eat dog in the world markets with the banking system still ploughing their way through customers bank accounts to gain more money for doing less, charging for premium account fees and offering products that are worthless and hardly usable. And all the watch dogs and regulators come up with is the same dull boring hype that means they are spineless and wimpish, fearful and cowardly, despite what they will tell you what they have done to date.

A Werewolf is a wolf but with human thought, it's deceptive and evil. No one likes to get less than they thought or to have bought an airline ticked to find at check-in they have to pay a whole shopping list of fees to move onwards. Whatever we pay for whether it's something cheap and silly or prestigious and expensive we do it for a reason and expect those behind the object or service of our desire to be honest and upright with what they are offering, it has to be "fit for use" and that doesn't include last minute essential costly upgrades nor anything more. We don't want hyped or disingenuous facades that have been processed by immoral people in marketing or those in PR who lie to distort what they have been hired for to make the bad news sound more palatable. It all comes out in the end, and whilst people are at times unfairly judged by their personal deeds as opposed to what fabulous things they did professionally, coming clean at least gains one respect, something that's almost unheard of today.

Having said all of that how do we as individuals fair up in the 'fair up' stakes? Are we whiter than white, blemish free, no faults, exemplary bastions of society, honest to a fault, etc. Because it makes a real difference as to how we move forward and how we both enjoy life and how life treats us. Of course we are humanoid and therefore we do have faults built in already, however we also have self restraint, morality, thoughtfulness, compassion, truth, understanding, love, humanitarian instincts for fellow man, etc, and fortunately most people abide by and large by these facets, not all some professions veer towards others dark areas in their versions of truth, as do some if not most religions. If we are not satisfied we must complain, not as a matter of course or to see what we can possibly 'get out of it' but genuinely and say why and say that you think you have either been "oversold" or "deceived" or what was on offer is beyond what is given, which is common with banks and airlines. (The advertising is ahead of the product). You can make a difference, you have no allegiance to any company despite the fact that thy run customer/consumer programmes, you are a number on a database with statistics no more than that. Human interface between such is rare although it does exist in some companies still. It's all about how you respect yourself, don't go around being aggrieved by being let down, state your case, then move on, it really does work, especially if you contact the media about shoddy service / products.

HAVING AN AFFAIR

The last time I wrote something on the topic "Affairs" I had the highest number of blog hits ever and still it's getting read and still I get correspondence from it. The many years I've been travelling around the world in my professional capacity I have been got at / approached / boldly faced / cornered / set up / asked out to dinner /enticed to pool parties / weekend homes / enticed into situations or just a corner where people have to tell me about the affair they have had or the "fling" that they have had. It weights so heavily that they go to great lengths to want to tell all and at times it's all on for them to stop them telling me the whole gory details, and yes some actually have DVD's of the whole thing too. It was almost a "Father Confessor" role by default which one shudders at. And with modern technology imagination is left uncompromised it's there in all its glory, although it's something I don't need to see to be conversant with what's just happened or indeed still going on. The trails on mobile devises are the foods Divorce Lawyers or newspapers feed upon.  Many people are quite reticent about discussing their story and details but feel that for their sake they just must tell someone otherwise it's too much to bear to live with for the rest of their lives. The bottom line is that over 90% of people who have had an affair have deeply regretted it, and still years after have within them guilt that they either can't shift or just frightened that they will blurt out something pertaining to it and ruin what they have got. I still have thoughts to this day from certain prominent people that "I wish they hadn't told me that", but they did such is their desire to 'cleanse' themselves of the endless thoughts about it all.

There are cultures and ethnic groups that are known for having affairs but then it tells on their culture that it never actually gets very far because of it. Society has "moral values" and regardless of what ones personal opinions are on that subject, it generally makes a great deal of difference when it comes to family life, trust, respect, education, perception by other people and the future generations that have little self esteem as there was none or little in the home life. When that breaks down crime rises in all areas. The biggest trust bond that people ever make as a rule is that when they have a committed relationship, not the one where you just shack up together because you like each other, the sex is great and it's convenient - for a while. It's the committed relationship whereby you love your partner so much you want to spend the rest of your life with him / her regardless of your job or current circumstances. Anything less always leads to less hence many people in the media are born failures where relationships are concerned.

Most affairs start because they can, we are always going to meet someone somewhere at some point in some situation in our lives that's going to raise a sparkle and renew who we were or bring out what was either dormant or possibly thought lost. The heart starts to beat like no tomorrow and the adrenalin and everything else just elevates the whole sensual system in the body including the mind that ones outlook is taken beyond the present to something more palatable even if it's all transient and ends up quite the opposite. Affairs are not just the confines of sluts, lonely people of a certain age or loose morals, they can happen to anyone anytime, even the most sedate person has feelings and at times our whole mind structure is in need of 'something' to enhance from what is to what should be as the self seems almost oblivious of how to affect such a change. Affairs are deceitful there's no getting away from it, it's often not pre-meditated nor is it engineered other than locating a base for the liaison and at times it's not even the sexual conclusion that's the bit that causes the excitement it's actually meeting someone in an almost clandestine way and being able to communicate and importantly laugh which is just so therapeutic. Most affairs start when laughter is no longer an aspect of life, it doesn't mean that love has flown out of the window but real laughter and a sharing of each other has become robotic and that's when those inner stirrings start to rise often subliminally. However you may be the actual cause yourself of your own affair and as to why this situation has arisen so don't jump to conclusions and immediately blame your partner.

We all know the consequences of what an affair can do even if we have never entertained that aspect of life ourselves. Some get over it, some never get over it and some just go on endlessly like headless chickens wandering aimlessly thinking about that 'other' person out there who is better than the current one. Completely selfishly orientated and never able to give of them selves, always holding back for something better which never materialises. But in our world of "all about me" there is no such thing as "they / he / she made me do it", you did it via your own thought process, and there is no back up to justify it whatsoever (if you don't like the relationship get out of it). There are no counsellors, coaches, shrinks or whatever that will properly justify your action to make you feel better. Whatever you have done you have done on your own, the first touch, the first kiss the first moment of sex it was you who did it no one else did it on your behalf. Unless you make a habit of gross infidelity - and some do - then if you don't face up to it you will forever reap the rearing of unsavoury after effects by always being on your guard and it will show when you are nervous or with other people. Your life is in your hands, your partner failures are your judgement not theirs, if you have endless failures YOU are the common denominator in every one no one else. Always looking for something better will guarantee that you'll always be on the edge in life and as soon as the shine starts to dull, that will be your Achilles heal.
(Part 2 to follow - soon)....

HELP ME - PLEASE....

It's of no surprise that right now somewhere someone is desperate for help of some kind, it doesn't matter what it is, desperation is the same for everyone regardless of the nature or the severity of the situation. But further down the line there is a degree of desperation that just doesn't quite hit the 'critial list' yet constantly burns away deep inside of us awaiting a solution that's affecting our life. It's the constant gnawing that 'toothache' that's at the back of our mind that's throbbing away and taking the edge of our every day life, making our small choices and decisions seem larger than they should be and bringing our world into a narrower focus that eliminates or excludes what we could really be enjoying. Whether at work or at home, the feeling that there is just something that's preventing life moving to the 'fast lane' weighs heavily and many people are caught up in this scenario, many that on the outside one wouldn't realise nor see nor even anticipate that such problems exist within them as they smile and get along their daily life as if trouble free. Yet deep within the seas of rage battle against the odds and the inner vision of life is anything but that what appears on the outside.

Help is something that many people steer well clear of and even more so bottle up what they have churning around within for fear that others may judge them on what it is that's bothering them.  It's this mixed emotion of being "thought of" by others that also exacerbates the situation greatly as they then feel locked into a scenario that they don't want to discuss their predicament and feel it's either not that great as to get professional help and again that they will be judged by the professional as being weak or stupid or that they should be able to deal with whatever they are going through but still can't. It's such dilemmas that many face daily and at times problems or mind situations come thick and fast that it can at a certain moment be almost inwardly overwhelming and then sleeplessness sets in and irascibility and one gets on a short fuse and the humour levels diminish and so it all gets worse.

Mental health is one of the biggest problem areas in the West, although it's increasing in the developing world and intermediary worlds too such as those religiously controlled areas that have extremely high mental health issues because of it. If the mental health of a nation flounders then everything goes with it, the Arab Spring which will come to very little in the end will be a curse of those that didn't have the courage and strength of conviction to make a clean sweep, resulting in everyone even the victors whoever they may be suffering at their archaic deeds. It's essential that we like our computers get rid of both the unwanted files and the accumulated redundant information otherwise everything slows up and possibly crashes, as humans we can act in that very same mode, although crashing is something we must strive not to do at all costs.

Help is available in many places even if initially we assume that it isn't or we think it isn't because that way it's easier to absolve ourselves from doing anything, yet at the same time we are only putting off the day of eventuality and a high degree of happiness which we are admonishing whilst keeping our problems at the forefront of our minds. Different things effect different people and it's up to us being experts of ourselves to do something about it. It matters not what others think, if they think bad thoughts you don't need them, otherwise they should be compassionate and sympathetic. Help from whatever source one will find that you are not alone and that feeling of embarrassment and
failure and letting yourself down will immediately be eliminated and a feeling of joy, upliftment, strength and new ability will flow immediately within. Often to the effect of "why didn't I do this before" and to know that you are not alone is also so just so emancipating that ones problems are sent into check straight away and a renewed feeling of ability flows through your whole body.

Whatever your situation respect YOURSELF, forget what others whoever they are think, forget about self created stigma, forget about your own embarrassment - as if you are the only one with a problem, forget about what will the professionals think - they have problems too, forget about anything but getting your problems solved whatever they are it matters not, medical, mental, physical, financial, relationship, situational, family, work, bullying, children, stalking, the list is endless if it's causing concern then it needs to be dealt with and you to get back on track as soon as possible. Getting back into the driving seat is far preferable than to be a passenger in your own life, think hard, fast and quickly make a decision that whatever is troubling you long term, not just temporary events, isn't going to be there any longer and make a move to free yourself up to a better and more rewarding life. One thing to beware is that of selfish concern by family members or friends, who are definitely not experts in your problems and will always give stilted, biased, weighted answers towards what they think and have little regard for yourself. Independent advice is on the whole by far the best solution and one where you can be neutral in what you say and think and feel and without reciprocal emotion which is self generated. It's your life, if you can't do it for you  no one can and if you falter then those around you are of no value either as respect and communication just flies out the window.

OUR SECRET BARRIERS

Many people never ever reach their full potential because of perceived thoughts, ideas and perceptions of other people. Logically it's all very pathetic as to why one should even remotely want to take up the thoughts of someone else especially those who have no connection or dependence upon you or you on them. Whether it's family, friends, colleagues, so called "smart people" who always get a version out on something that has glaring holes in their take on it but can never see them themselves. Or just perhaps it's even worse and the bottom of the pit in life is a version by the media itself, that's a 'no brainer' and if one has to resort to that as a reference then it's already goodbye to original and unbiased thought. One thing that no one else on planet earth can ever do is walk in your pathway nor think nor feel what is going in your mind even if they at times come close to it. So whatever they have as an idea which could well be accurate the nuances that make you and them different could make a world of difference to the final execution, delivery and success of what ever it is that you need to accomplish.

We are all different as people, we can have a brilliant mind yet be timid and fragile as a person or we can be the opposite and be as thick as two short planks but have guts and an overt determination to do whatever we feel, whether it's successful or not is another matter. What does make a difference to us going forward are factors that are crucial to the outcome of our desire and the result of same. Stability, love and clarity, for without these our inner equilibrium is forever flitting from one thing to another like bees collecting pollen from the flowers, and as we get older the esoteric nature we have become accustomed to starts to drag us down and then crankiness often takes a hold. Creative people are usually on the edge already but life circumstances whilst being enjoyed to the full in early life takes its toll later on.

Our barriers are just that, they can be numerous in variety or they can be few yet very stubborn to the fact that they hold us up time and time again sometimes overtly and sometimes directly within as we start to fear aspects of what we are doing and allow our minds to free fall into an abyss which cause untold consternation. Intelligence has no bearing upon common sense, and often people get sucked up into both an ideology of where and whom they are at a time in their lives, it gives them a purpose, sometimes blinkered yet they think they see through it - they don't - they see what they want to see, and everyone around them sees it but themselves. The difference between self esteem and arrogance can be minimal even though they come from different places, if not correctly honed and monitored the 'self' will allow either to be misconstrued and thus negate what the outcome should have been.

There are those in life that are only too willing to comment upon anything and everything with a logic so strong in their own mind that life at times is literally black and white, and they fail to understand why others can't see it that way. Such though which is often highly developed is a massive failure as it allows a disconnection with the emotions of society and personalities within it, mainly because emotions are treated as a logical feelings and not as personal effusive emotions pertinent to individuals, this has relationship conflicts too and spurns the 'happiness factor'. Whatever others think or feel is for them, what your views are are for you, rightly or otherwise, the word respect has an immediacy here and it's the art of getting along with others and ultimately ones ability to communicate with others at all levels.

Education and ability have strong points where determination comes into the fore, although not exclusively. Family backgrounds and culture also and at times sadly to a negative degree lowers ones abilities as do "religious" biases which are for the main the "kiss of death" as they are constructs of man and nothing to do with God. One only has to look at the predominant countries and their religions to see what the difference makes and their genuine contribution to society and the world, even though it's all far from perfect. Free societies grow, constrained societies and those that are historically corrupt remain in turmoil and usually with an underlying anger which is a self frustration about themselves and allows continued failure to be a prevalent feature.

BEING BITCHY & SCEPTICAL

It seems almost de regeur today to post some bitchy remark or be super sceptical about a situation or an emotional event, it attracts people like bees to a honey pot, it attracts more bitchy and sceptical people in greater proportion than just about anything else. Each person almost racing to add their ten cents worth of personal comment to bolster what has already gone before them and with an air of personal smugness as if to say "it happened to me" - which it may well have done. But what it goes to show is that whatever happened to the person who has commented is still alive and kicking and despite their phraseology and false smiles they are a part of their own problem and want to keep it alive to see if they can get some recompense in doing so. They won't and in fact the fact that they have just commented goes to show that all is not well in their overall ideology of life nor have they gotten over past incidents (never their fault always someone else's). It's often not what we say but how we say something that outlines whom we are, if it still has twinges of acerbic thought it will very often smack of still hurting relationship problems, loneliness and life not quite the way it should be. Even if the "I've gotten over it now and I'm a better person" image is one that's put forward, plastering over cracks doesn't cure what's underneath, not that there is often anything to go over it's just a prevailing attitude.

Those that are perpetually sceptical about life and all that's in it we need to keep well away from as they are usually "emotional vampires" draining us of our energy for their own pleasure, those that are perpetually bitchy we should do likewise as that denotes someone who is untrustworthy and not quite as stable as they should be and also has a high degree of selfishness too. It doesn't denote that they are bad people and there is a vast difference between those who are naturally 'quick witted' and those that have to turn others comments and situations on their head as a statement of their own view point, which we can always do without because it's negative and negativity leads to negativity when even worse things beset and befall us. Being bitchy can be fun to listen to initially then it starts to pall as it then cross cuts through all that is good and wonderful and negates the happiness trail that everyone strives towards. The bitchy and sceptical try their best to tell you that their pathetic past is over, but reality is it still lives on, and they tell you that you have to be careful at all times and that you will find what they say will come true and all that diatribe. It's an excuse to see others hurt to make themselves feel better otherwise why would anyone suggest gloom and doom as a way of life, is there something so wrong with themselves that they actually have a degree of "hatred" within them? And who knows they could have been the instigators of their own downfall and you really don't need advice from anyone like that.

Life is a one-way stream, it goes forward, and dragging the past with you only hinders any progress which subliminally others pick up on it to feel that 'all is not that well' despite often outward signs of smiles, but it is really the 'wolf in sheep's clothing' that one sees as the vocality doesn't match the inner self. Comments on Facebook abound with 'predominantly' women voicing off past deeds which for most they would rather keep where they are in the past and enjoy the potential of both the present and hopefully better promise of the future. Reflections of ourselves manifest in ways which if we are not careful outline who we really are, and that the facade we try to put on is but that a facade of deceit which has undercurrents of a not so savoury thought process and one which is subject to constant change and fluctuation. If one feels that relationships, loneliness, life not so hot is because of circumstances then think again, it's not. We are part of life, which part is up to you. Situations and circumstances can change in an instant but we all have full control over ourselves 24/7 and our emotions. If we choose to be bitchy and sceptical as a base then don't ever expect things to change for the better, as those you seek which yet you have to find will steer a wide berth around you. If your friends aren't so good then it's because you've chosen like minded people who also reflect your self and again like you cannot be trusted 100% as selfishness will be a number one issue in their heart.

BEING ADULT ABOUT LIFE

So many arguments are caused by juvenile thoughts and pure selfish feelings. The majority of relationship breakdowns are because of selfishness more than anything else oh, and of course a real lack of true love. We talk about love quite a lot there are films and TV programmes splattered all around us about love stories usually those that go wrong as hysterical drama can be interjected in to it. Happy endings rarely move an audience even if a few tears are shed towards the end. Do we know what real love is all about once the initial infatuation calms down and life starts to wash away the clouds of bliss as the odd storm brews up in the distance? Do we look differently at our partner and think they could be better or do better or that we haven't after all that much in common for the long run?  Of course these are failings in us and our ego and our attitude and our self esteem and the self itself, it's usually about our own self that we let ourselves down terribly with, not someone else, although we don't usually like to admit it. Our temperament can be up and down like a yo-yo and thus we have mood swings that reflect that up and down feeling as we tend to let everyone know for that subliminal cry for attention to try and zest things up again. It rarely works as after a while everyone knows you for who and what you are, which doesn't mean you are a bad person nor anything else, just dull and predictive. We can also be forever analytical which then removes much of what life is all about as we tend then to miss the crux of what it really all means and the nuances that can't easily be categorised.

Alternatively we can can be one of those self created morons that is politically correct, and there is no legislation pertaining to such so it's a self made stance which means you are dancing on dangerous ground as it's all based upon your perception not the reality of others. If you harbour political correctness as a means of moving forward the chances are you won't, as you'll forever be frightened to speak your mind or allow others to do the same so nothing predominantly happens. It's often a failure mentality and depicts one of lesser strength, if others get upset then let them deal with it, it's not for to you offer yourself as some self proclaimed bastion of society that no one wants and in the process holding everyone back. Understanding the bigger picture is always a good thing yet few ever do they never rise to that thought process yet then wonder why they are forever in the doldrums seeing life as an obstacle in itself and not fair and wallowing in the detritus because they can never seem to float to the surface.

Selfishness is a pre-cursor to many problems in life, loneliness, lack of relationships and commitment, mental instability, distrust, unhappiness, warped thoughts, self denial, fear of spending too much time with others - no matter how close they may be. Zealously enhanced distance relationships via email, Facebook, Twitter or other social media platform, quirkiness, fragmented life, etc, it's all to do with an almost pivotless sense of me, me and of course me. We have options and choices so we take the route that we think is applicable to us, rightly or wrongly who knows. Nothing is without consequences good or not so good, and in the overall view it matters not to others as it's our own personal life and we migrate towards those that share our view and personality even if it is from afar and see only small chunks we empathise with. Actually living in close proximity with our distant contacts could lead to everything we like about someone come toppling down in an instant such is our cultivated relationship that even if deeply motivated and concurrent on many topics is never the less fragile in context.

Understanding ourselves and not trying to think another way over the reality of whom we are makes for a greater understanding and a degree of increased happiness as we know why things are as they are and not ponder upon such variables then wonder why, again brushing over on the reality side of events. Our "love walk" should see us through, for where our "love walk" is evident so is that little voice telling us what is right or not so, and yes we do have "override" we can latch on to, but override is just that and it's tantamount to to lying to ourselves, which is the last thing we should do. We can hypothesise until the day we die yet it won't change the truth even if we don't really want to believe there is one. We can try and be another Peter Pan and pretend that we are not getting older and that life in the main is for others, but it isn't, we are part of getting old and life does zoom by even if our Dorian Grey attitude temporarily makes us feel better. At some stage everything comes home to roost and at some stage we look upon life and not see what we have done but where are we now, for that is where we live and breath.
