CULTURE AND FAILURE

It's getting more difficult all the time for people to try and relate to something tangible in their lives, it doesn't matter what it is all but without this relationship it's difficult to live an enjoyable life. The number of so called "lost" people is increasing, people who no matter what they do just can't seem to find a niche or position to get themselves into a state of 'happiness'. On the other side of the fence are those who in theory anyway have that niche and it's often their their culture, unfortunately it's a second hand culture and one that's been handed own by parents or grand parents and no longer exists where they currently reside. Whoever you are, wherever you come from one thing is perfectly clear, your culture is where you are right here right now. No matter what your roots or past history if you are born in London or New York or wherever then that is where your culture starts not some idealistic stuff that your parents want you to know about. There is nothing wrong with knowing where your ancestry came from nor any details of that, but you have never experienced it at all and this "in my culture we do this" is not only rubbish it's unpatriotic as to the country in which you live and by default you actually isolate yourself in the process. Don't ever be dragged into someone else's reality no matter how it is. It's similar to the overzealous expectation of children by the parents who say "I only want the best for them" but take no account of what their children want.

We are all different, some people have in their past a string of destinations in which they lived, that too is part of their culture, where you live is the default base even if it's concurrent with others around you so be it.  We need to be at the top of our game no one else's so it's imperative that we are comfortable and have no pressures to conform to abstract areas of life regardless of how nice they may be. Cultures are seen in today's world as an adjunct to identity but only by those who are in the culture loop, for everyone else it doesn't matter, and for all intense and purposes in life it doesn't matter either. Rituals of the past have a habit of causing consternation, dismay, unrest, disharmony, and also family conflicts which is the last thing that should happen, particularly endemic in Asian societies, where status overtakes real family love. It's when selfish parents place their priorities for themselves over the lives of others. Culture often goes hand in hand with "Duty", duty as such can actually cause misplaced loyalties and go against the law or be morally incorrect, especially when enacted in a new or different environment.

We see when we go on holiday or on television travelogues about wonderfully colourful displays of people and their cultures why they do what they do, yet it has nothing to do with the  'now' nor can others be dragged into the scenario. Wrong signals, wrong messages, wrong understanding, wrong everything can ensue if cultures are not kept to the self as something of a choice and not as a duty, etc. Our need to go forward needs some real background substance otherwise we find we are somewhat 'light' as to establishing ourselves. Although many people move to other countries and settle down right away without any troubles what so ever and get on well. The culture of where you are may be alien and it also maybe that you have previously lived in an advanced society that has not been wrapped up or consigned to the dogma of an earlier age, never the less the cultural understanding does have a part to play in your overall perceptions of life and with a better perspective help you overcome or play the games to get what you want.

SPACIALITY AND GRATEFULNESS

We all possess to a degree an understanding, usually of a subliminal nature of "spacial awareness" and also of "being grateful" and whilst both may not seem to be related to each other they most definitely are. We more often than not like to see logic at work so without too much thought we can link A and B and come to some type of conclusion within our mind as to "why" or whether or not what we have assessed is of any importance to us. But in the "bigger picture" all these little aspects of whom we are do play a part in our roles in life as well as manifest themselves in our character. These traits in turn are usually made use of by marketing companies and the like in order to either give a better product / service or tailor make their current service to entice new and keep established customers. Similar traits can be manifestly different from many different peoples from different parts of the world, and what works in one country doesn't necessarily work in another, even mentalities change at certain levels too as does the general 'nonchalance' of living. That is for example what a businessman in Africa, Japan, UK, USA, South America, India, Middle East, etc, would do in an identical situation in another country, and it can be quite different in how and why they execute what they do and watching their body language and coherence to their "temporary environment" makes. The more "gratitude" we have within us the happier and more contented we become, and it allows us thus to "see" what needs to be done as to constantly striving to make things better which is predominantly a figment of our thoughts in relation to a potential that's "off course".

Of course we must never lose sight of the fact that we are all different and some people are more easy at travelling than others, never the less characters often reflect the country from whence they came and that brings with it a degree of "spacial presence" which can be identified as to even down to literally how people sit in a row of seats and how much space they take up (given like for like). Some people are predominantly aware of others whilst some seemingly are oblivious and some to the point they 'see' little of anything else until it almost hits them in the face. And whilst this may seem - to many people - superfluous it can have a big effect on how we "like" someone or even want to do business with them, and how our product is tailor made or how it's received etc. Similarly "attitude" plays a significant part of how we encompass life and how we enjoy it, and it usually goes hand in hand with our "spacial understanding" of it. Some people appear mean not because they necessarily are but just because they don't "think" of other people in their thought process, kindnesses or being thoughtful never or rarely crosses their minds and thus they form a certain "cold etiquette" towards others perceptions and feelings, all of which has an effect, an effect which in some circumstances could well negate themselves from what they seek. Moving further on taking such characteristics further the degree of gratefulness that they have within also manifests itself on their ability to interact, be observant, be understanding, be cooperative, be responsive, be pro-active, etc, and these again define a person further.

As simple as we think things are and the ease at which we think we can pin point others traits and  aptitudes is in reality not as easy as just looking and seeing what corresponds to 'our way' and if they don't basically correspond then they are less of a person or not "our type". We actively 'select' what fits in best with ourselves that's why being positive is so important, as generally 'like attracts like'. Mentality is important too and so is the "spacial awareness" of those around us for if they veer off too much from what we see and do and like, we definitely see them as 'not acceptable' to whom we are and our plans and way of life. This can as be seen as prejudice or classed as some other kind of "ist" which there are many, but in reality it is natural to get what most suits the position in many areas such as attitude, as a bad attitude or lacking in 'spacial aptitudes' can negate excellent qualifications and the position can be rendered useless accordingly. It's how we judge our friends and it's also mixed with emotions too which either enhance or clouds our judgement. It's all so complex and yet so simple because in a flash we can usually 'see' who is good or not regardless of their ability in most cases, it's when we become too technical and apply enforced structures that life takes a turn for the worst.

SHOWING YOUR EMOTIONS

We are by default sentient human beings although I think some will throw that in question, never the less it's a mark of a superior being. As a race we are marvellous people, it's only the trappings and conditions that tend to thwart our real ability to grow such as those in the third world and the dearth of religions that restrict life and cause repression as opposed to praising their God and allowing growth. They all suffer who believe in fear and restriction as can be seen by their backwardness in life and the way they have to rely on others to develop what they find incapable of doing themselves. Our emotions are one of the prominent aspects of our lives, we move throughout the whole of our life via an emotional wave, some days it's relatively calm others it's vibrant in every way. It's these which give us our feelings and in turn we feed off of these feelings and react according to how we deem it is expedient. We have within us free will and therefore we have negative emotions too such as envy, greed, jealousy, selfishness, anger, arrogance, etc, and these in turn are linked to how we feel as a person. If we are relatively secure in life then we get on quite well and cope where we have to. If we are not so secure then we readily pick up the negative emotions and feel moody, angry, jealous, etc, and start to use these emotions to our benefit - or so called benefit - to try and get our own way. It's called emotional blackmail and it's the lowest of levels one can almost stoop to. Where people feign tears in order to gain sympathy, be moody in order to try and get their own way and so on. Keep well away from such people and don't ever pamper to their debased thoughts

Many a young "thug" type of person has difficulty in showing emotion, it's almost a "sissy" thing to feel upset, angry yes, but upset or loving - forget it. This misplaced understanding results in a life of trials and tribulations and dares and a whole host of random stupidity, when deep down the onset of real love from anyone that cares is what is most needed. After all with real love - unconditional love - hurt and upset and anger don't come into the equations (back to why some religions are always killing and getting upset - evil doctrines). Governments are useless at such things as their agendas are power based and so when it comes down to emotional remedies they are also thuggish and impotent even if they pretend to understand. Of course societies and cultures play a big part in how we grow up and deal with life, some cultures are fiery and emotionally volatile whilst others are more controlled and think before they act. Some of the Eastern cultures are the worst in that they make a Hollywood drama out of anything as a means for others to help them, women there do this exceptionally well, it's all conditioning and religion and is a real far cry from living and life as it should be as it's always an Achilles heal for them. Then we get to the other extremes where manufactured effect is almost de regeur such as the real Hollywood awards where speeches almost turn your stomach over with the whet diatribe they come out with.

People react to others emotions, we are judged by them, but it doesn't mean that someone who goes ape like has more feeling than someone who remains calm and stands their ground, it's often the latter that has more compassion and less theatrical selfishness. There is a time and a place and what the outward signs are don't always reflect the inner state. We tend to veer towards those that share our emotional position in life, it makes us feel more secure and in control and enables a more stable stance in life regardless of whatever happens. We can all cry with tears of joy or sadness a development of extreme emotion in both cases, some are more susceptible than others, and there's no detriment to ANYONE who sheds a tear, it's a natural part of yourself and something that one should never be ashamed of. However back to the "thug" scenario, the personal shame of being emotional or selectively emotional, whereas if they were real stable solid humans they would just be themselves and not live behind a facade that's unreal and designed to repress, a state of human failure. We can more often than not even with someone we don't know see through feigned emotions or those who enhance their joy or grief to effect self notice, selfishness has no limits and we can feel within those who are genuine and those who 'put it on', the emotional vampires always seeking others energy. It's good to show emotions as it's good to look good, it reflects who you are and the sincerity of who you are too. Never emulate others, don't cry at a funeral if you can't, don't laugh if you don't think it's funny, but do either if appropriate as and when it affects you, you're not on trial nor do you need approval or acceptance from anyone. Be yourself and allow the inner you to blossom.

OUR SECRET BARRIERS

Many people never ever reach their full potential because of perceived thoughts, ideas and perceptions of other people. Logically it's all very pathetic as to why one should even remotely want to take up the thoughts of someone else especially those who have no connection or dependence upon you or you on them. Whether it's family, friends, colleagues, so called "smart people" who always get a version out on something that has glaring holes in their take on it but can never see them themselves. Or just perhaps it's even worse and the bottom of the pit in life is a version by the media itself, that's a 'no brainer' and if one has to resort to that as a reference then it's already goodbye to original and unbiased thought. One thing that no one else on planet earth can ever do is walk in your pathway nor think nor feel what is going in your mind even if they at times come close to it. So whatever they have as an idea which could well be accurate the nuances that make you and them different could make a world of difference to the final execution, delivery and success of what ever it is that you need to accomplish.

We are all different as people, we can have a brilliant mind yet be timid and fragile as a person or we can be the opposite and be as thick as two short planks but have guts and an overt determination to do whatever we feel, whether it's successful or not is another matter. What does make a difference to us going forward are factors that are crucial to the outcome of our desire and the result of same. Stability, love and clarity, for without these our inner equilibrium is forever flitting from one thing to another like bees collecting pollen from the flowers, and as we get older the esoteric nature we have become accustomed to starts to drag us down and then crankiness often takes a hold. Creative people are usually on the edge already but life circumstances whilst being enjoyed to the full in early life takes its toll later on.

Our barriers are just that, they can be numerous in variety or they can be few yet very stubborn to the fact that they hold us up time and time again sometimes overtly and sometimes directly within as we start to fear aspects of what we are doing and allow our minds to free fall into an abyss which cause untold consternation. Intelligence has no bearing upon common sense, and often people get sucked up into both an ideology of where and whom they are at a time in their lives, it gives them a purpose, sometimes blinkered yet they think they see through it - they don't - they see what they want to see, and everyone around them sees it but themselves. The difference between self esteem and arrogance can be minimal even though they come from different places, if not correctly honed and monitored the 'self' will allow either to be misconstrued and thus negate what the outcome should have been.

There are those in life that are only too willing to comment upon anything and everything with a logic so strong in their own mind that life at times is literally black and white, and they fail to understand why others can't see it that way. Such though which is often highly developed is a massive failure as it allows a disconnection with the emotions of society and personalities within it, mainly because emotions are treated as a logical feelings and not as personal effusive emotions pertinent to individuals, this has relationship conflicts too and spurns the 'happiness factor'. Whatever others think or feel is for them, what your views are are for you, rightly or otherwise, the word respect has an immediacy here and it's the art of getting along with others and ultimately ones ability to communicate with others at all levels.

Education and ability have strong points where determination comes into the fore, although not exclusively. Family backgrounds and culture also and at times sadly to a negative degree lowers ones abilities as do "religious" biases which are for the main the "kiss of death" as they are constructs of man and nothing to do with God. One only has to look at the predominant countries and their religions to see what the difference makes and their genuine contribution to society and the world, even though it's all far from perfect. Free societies grow, constrained societies and those that are historically corrupt remain in turmoil and usually with an underlying anger which is a self frustration about themselves and allows continued failure to be a prevalent feature.
