BEING LATE

One of the scourges common to businesses and friendships is that of people being late. It's not only disrespectful it's bad in every way possible as it lets others down and stops the smooth flow of life itself. If a cog in a watch no matter how big or small stops then it all stops. Similarly if others place a responsibility upon you as an individual then you either uphold it or be forever viewed as one who can't / won't uphold their part of the bargain. And before those who are late perpetually start to wriggle with annoyance 'blame culture' doesn't hold water either. Yes, there are at times mitigating circumstances where even the most die hard and studious person who always arrives early arrives late one day, but the circumstances pertaining to their enforced late arrival can be counted on one hand and are usually very exceptional. We all know of people who just can't keep to time, perpetually late or last minute or whatever besets or befalls them they just have a list of ready made excuses as to why they "had to do this" or "cut it so fine" as not to allow any safe margin whatsoever so pro-occupied with themselves and their thoughts that what is around is either secondary or less important.

The crucial matter for lateness is not traffic, accidents, weather, invasions from Mars and Venues, it's not even the alarm clock not going off for those that deem they need to be there get there, those that have to be there for whatever reason place secondary importance again on the delivery of themselves as it's a chore more than responsibility.  If one is late for work phoning from the "cell phone / mobile phone" doesn't make it all right, it may show a degree of courtesy should one be able to advise of late arrival but it doesn't admonish the responsibility factor nor does it do anything else - you are late - full stop. There is always a cause for lateness over and above circumstances en-route that one cannot help, illness, bereavement, children, etc, but if children are an on-going common cause that's not acceptable as the world doesn't revolve around your problems and it needs resolution.

The causes of lateness are usually of a psychological nature even if it's perpetually cutting it all too fine and not allowing for delays en-route. Are you happy with your work, or are you happy with the destination that you have an appointment with, even if it's the dentist or a hospital appointment, or an interview or a court appearance or whatever it may be. As a member of the human race you have a responsibility not only to yourselves but those around you too, and that has nothing to do with self concocted ego, arrogance and the 'what's in it for me' attitude for if any of these latter aspects creep into your thoughts you have a problem looming large. You ARE the problem. If you don't like where you work or dread work or dislike those who are at your work it speaks volumes about you and not your work. Understandably it's not always that easy to change jobs especially at certain times where the financial climate is weak and jobs are scarce, but if you respect your income no matter what it is then you should uphold who you are otherwise by default you make yourself worthless and that has very bad connotations that will eventually ostracise you by your own volition from many aspects of life.

Blame culture, lax attitudes, lack of self respect, negative emotions at the forefront of your mind, small mindedness, pre-occupation with yourself, lack of respect for others, lack of purpose, insularity of mind, lack of focus, lack of priorities, etc are all contributory factors as to lateness especially those who are perpetually late. Lazy environments, i.e.people you work or live within who share the same social banal culture and talk about lateness as a topic, which exists and share their lame excuses and think it's clever. Late arrival usually starts with an apology, think about it, starting anything with an apology isn't good it puts you under par before anything has started and it usually lowers concentration often resulting in a lower performance and hurried thoughts which causes mistakes and lack of concentration. In some areas the smallest of mistakes can cause death or mayhem, just because perhaps your position in life isn't so critical it gives you no leeway to take matters into your own hand. You are paid for what you do not what you don't do.

SHADOWS OF LIFE

In everyone's life there is a silent programme running in the background. It's usually hidden within our "Life Files" and very personal to us, it contains all of our secret ideals, feelings, attitudes, desires, fears, phobias, failures, thoughts on others and often these files contain elements of somewhat 'not so savoury' areas of our thinking and 'secret arrogant thoughts'.  It doesn't matter who we are or where we are from we have these hidden files and they are with us 24/7. For some the files are crammed full of data others they contain very little. The bottom line is that how we make our way in life and how our stability pans out emanates from our perception and our responding attitude. Everything has a shadow a light side and a dark side, we have a sentient thought process and see life from our own particular stand point. It's this stand point that can make or break us and give us joy or sadness, it can give us by default happiness or sadness and most of it from not even moving from any particular point.  The "bigger picture" is where we really reside even at a personal level, if we decide to live within a cocoon of narrowness then life will eventually close in on us and we will lose the ability to think beyond our vision and when that happens a dullness will overtake and cause untold distress on many levels.

Within our whole civilisation lies a darkness the antithesis of all that's good and great, it's the result of a designer creativity for a purpose that has an effect of being disharmonious to our own lifestyle or way forward. Not everything is conducive to everyone, the 'one size fits all' scenario doesn't exist. Where some feel comfortable others stand almost shivering with apprehension such is the way we feel and interact with our comfort zone. Never the less we all have a purpose and we all have an opportunity to be what we want to be. The difference is that some regard their desire to  be appreciated by the many and that's the hard part. Some achieve greatness without seemingly too much trouble although from there on life is usually a quest of relationships and scenarios for which they need to conquer and achieve for themselves as they loose all moral stability. Their lives are usually too full of endless bouts of ups and down, but it can be a life that's privileged so one must take the rough with the smooth.

For the majority of people the shadow areas of life can be controlled because reality is a very stabilising force upon life and what we do. It puts most people back into a stage that they have to think quickly and thus they summarise all around them and where they are at and come to a conclusion that puts them into a position that they feel best comfortable with. It's when negative emotions creep into our lives for whatever reason that we veer from the "straight and narrow" (which varies from person to person) and we start then to collate extraneous thoughts about "why", "it's not fair", "I want", and all the rest and the mind then starts 'calculating' and that can be for the some their biggest downfall because their ideas go ahead of the reality of it all. We often see on talent programmes on television contestants talking about aspirations and before we even see them perform we have feelings that this is possibly the one and only time they will ever be on television.

Everything we do has a downside as well as a positive side, it's the application and deed of what's best that makes the positivity of it all come to life and overshadows the negative aspects no matter how minimal they may have been. At times we have to make far reaching decisions that encompass many aspects some of which no matter what we do will disadvantage others and there are no options that will preclude that. Whatever we do we must conduct it from a good heart that way we will minimise the negativity that will ensue thereafter even if some don't receive a benefit. Provided we make the best decision(s) we cannot take the negativity from others, they have to steer their course and you are not responsible for their thoughts. We all have to drive our own vehicle in life no matter what and can't apportion what others have done as that is out of our control. The key to success is to forge ahead, dwelling on the problem and get angry overtakes the solution and then nothing happens which is what happens to many. Some even believe that when their life is a mess it's because of others whereas in reality it's them not taking control. Life at times is not easy, but there again the success of striving to do your best is well worth waiting for as the reward is rich.

DRONE ADDICTION

We all conform to something in life even if it's via a stance of routine, we do that because it helps us get to where we want to go to quickly and with the knowledge that all we need in between is there to help us speedily do whatever we have to do. Control is a contradictory word in that it can be both oppressive and at the same time protective in the nicest possible way. Some people need control in order to flourish in their own environment as others need freedom to utilise their gifts of creativity for without which nothing would ever move forward or be crated or developed. It's a cosy synergy and a positive symbiosis on paper at least. Of course the moment humans start to interact we get differing characters, ideologies, and negative emotions come into play and of course evil religions and that's when it all goes belly up.

The human species is love based, if we take love away from the human being we get a drone or a robot, just living to live without purpose, definition and feeling. Where emotions are superfluous to life and other than survive the warmth and colour that surrounds us and the technology that's available wouldn't be as it is now for there would be no purpose for it. Governments should protect their citizens not run their lives, this too is a very contentious area as Islamic countries do both under the auspices of religion, but religion is between you and God and not anyone else, hence they are all backward, unstable and disruptive in context. Whilst most people crave freedom and have it available there are those who need to be told what to do or at least be placed within a structure that defines a routine or protocol as that complements their lives and also enhances their ability and personal security. Similarly not everyone can be entrepreneurial however the cross over between creativity and  business is very variable and should not be judged as such. Life exists in a variety of guises there isn't a one size fits all and therefore it should not be imposed on everyone as a blanket coverage.

It's amazing how many people could benefit from an injection of 'open source' even those who feel that they are creative and open where they are right now often comply subliminally with protocols devised by others that for some reason feel they have adhered to and do so without much thought. The more 'baggage' we carry the more it slows us down, like a computer that's never had all the redundant files removed, it just gets slower and slower and slower. Lightness of life is essential and trying to 'fit in' with others isn't always the smartest thing to do either as that shows a lack of self and one's own personality being muffled under a cloud for the sake of others. It's not easy for some to transcend the mundane but it does pay dividends if it is transacted. And for those that think it's good to be 'one of the gang' or whatever it is, it shows a decisive lack of ability for others, by default you are allowing to hold yourself back. Similarly you need to show life and all that's in it that you have a mind of your own and that you can think for yourself which doesn't mean that you have to be arrogant or bombastic. There will always be those who try to pull you down but that shows more about them and their inability than anything else.

SPIRITUAL OSMOSIS

It appears today that more and more people are calling themselves "spiritual" in the wake of "man made religions", Islam getting out of hand and so very unstable, and others not delivering the goods. We don't see any benefits from any of the Gods that these people worship in any way because the basic credential for any believer is for them to believe and they don't. They base their belief on rhetoric and parrot fashion learning and of course fear, rules and regulations that hold back as opposed to encourage. So many people of these religions are full of anger and hatred, the conduit to God is through love and love alone, and evil masking love is like a wolf in sheep's clothing, it produces unrest and more devastation and evil. It is not good enough to "praise God" when things go well and when say "it must be a lesson" when it doesn't, because that's not true and it's make believe, brought about by failure and deceitful preachers who have no more contact with God than a Camel turd. Everyone who believes has contact, those that don't believe don't, you make your choices based upon whatever you feel "floats your boat" but in the end times if you are wrong you're nothing.

We then get the "New Age mob" those that talk about "nice things" but are all screwed up and look perpetually ill. Often seen hovering around health food stores and meetings of the pathetic and lost seeking more stories and information to enhance their journey into weirdness. Lastly, there are those who call themselves "Spiritual" (whatever they think that means) because they pretend not to believe in God (but they do a bit) preferring to believe in some supreme force or energy and they call that the Universe. They often come out with "if you put goodness into the Universe it will pay you back kindly" - where on earth that came from who knows, but then it says a lot about them too. Usually their attitude is whet and ineffectual, being on the fence no opinion one way or another and it i's a cop out between no I don't believe and "just in case" I do, a foot in both camps.

Spirituality is a state of mind, not just a set thought it is an actual state, very few actually have that state to apply their life by and thus the vast majority are just wandering around with a theoretical concept as opposed to something tangible that produces benefits. It fills 'that' box when it states Belief / Religion? Of course being "Spiritual" one must know the route to take, so many see a whimsy version of "Spirituality" as being good and kind and nice and believing in the "universe, etc, all of which is not incorrect. It is like believing in "Superman" sounds good, represents good, but doesn't exist. It is harmless to have 'spiritual' thoughts but it doesn't provide a purpose of merit, in real times of woe goes nowhere fast. In order to gain a "spiritual" access to life and what else it may hold, there must be something of a sincere nature to want it to happen otherwise one will like religion go through the motions talk endlessly about it and be no better off. A bit like having an  Mp3 player that just holds the information and no more.

Life for some, religion makes a world of difference both the parrot fashion brigade who are stoic and dumb as well as the open and true who can feel the access. The power of the mind is really incredible and when one has a belief of unlimited power then the road is always open to endless possibilities without the "wow factor" interfering. Often what scientists seek to know rarely happens as they interject logic en-route which immediately stymies what they are seeking. It's strange that many atheists / agnostics get upset when talking about religion or God (any one) whereas it shouldn't be an interest, like people talking about sport to those that can't stand it. Whatever your beliefs they are yours and it is no one else's business after all if you don't' believe there is nothing to say and if you do believe it's between you and God no one else. Life is about love, God is about love, evil or the devil is about bad, so here we have a commonality at a common level. Evil and killing can't be an aspect of religion otherwise it becomes devil worship, and after all if your God or it's followers kill what is the devil supposed to do other than be pleased that he has more workers afoot?

STEERING YOUR OWN COURSE

It's amazing when you ask people whose life they are living, their retort is 'mine' and it's said with a degree of aplomb. Yes talk to them a little more and the conversation, regardless of it's content, starts to include others that by default play a role either by design or default that influence what they do and say. Of course we don't live in isolation and yes we do have significant others that we gladly take on board and meld our ways with to incorporate them as they do with us, it's called 'getting on with others''. Our focus on life at times goes astray in that we feel the need to both steer our own course and at the same time please others as that can give us a sense of achievement and acknowledgement, part of the 'feel good factor'. But the reality of all this is false because others then take you for what you give out whether it's done consciously or not, and if not careful it can get out of hand very quickly. It is at moments like this that when it gets out of hand we feel that we are taken advantage of or it all doesn't feel right or others get a wrong impression of how we are and we don't like that, even though it is us that has instigated it all ourselves.

Sometimes it is the little things in life that get to us, rather than the larger things that we tend to cope with and get to the bottom of without too much trouble. A self conscious attitude usually stops us making an issue out of the small things in life. If others do make an issue we even feel they are being picky or small minded and judge them differently. At times life is what it is, we have to make a compromise and do what we have to do even if it's not basically ideal, even within what we would like. Needs must and doing something is always better than doing nothing.  Life is full of conduits so we can make a leap forward to an amazing array of places just by meeting people in certain areas and be receptive to whatever it is they have to offer. We should be open to possibilities from the most unlikely sources and never pre-judge based upon outward views.

There are in life plenty of people who on the side lines will give you advice as to what to do and where to go. Whether it' is well meant or not it all comes from their perspective which is not yours.  One thing you must never do is ask or take advice from anyone who has aspirations less than your own, as it will always be below par and full of their own insecurities and fears. By all means listen, but if it doesn't resonate with you, move on. Unfortunately there are even those who may not even wish you to succeed as it would to their mind put themselves in a bad light. Even professional advisers can get it wrong, again everything comes from their perspective and that could ultimately produce something that one dreads doing and provides no upliftment and ultimately disappointment. There are no magic wands in life even though at times some have those proverbial 'lucky breaks. Either way you have to walk the walk and talk the talk.

DANCING WITH GHOSTS

Does your past ever come back to haunt you? You ever have bouts of regret, remorse, guilt, apprehension of the past, etc? Does life at times seem like a course in aspects of deja vu or that you have feelings that it's recurring again like it's all the same but different? Do people remind you of the past or regurgitate stories of a not so nice nature that makes you feel somewhat low in spirits? Well fret not because it happens to many people every day at some juncture in their lives. Of course we can deliberately and almost consciously make decisions that repeat the past such as the "battered wife syndrome" and other areas where reality, stability and habit all roll themselves into one to try and fulfil an inner desire. It works but the result is always failure. One thing that people don't seem to bring to their guise of where they reside is the here and now and that the past is just that. No manner of conversation or saying sorry or crying or "making good" or appeasement or atonement or resolution or whatever is dreamt up today can alter, change or undo the past. What has happened has happened.

Guilt and memories of the past are manifested within the mind, nowhere else can they live, no one else can harbour your thoughts or feelings and no one else can ever change the thought process except yourself. Guilt is none productive and serves nothing more than a selfish whim of your own or worse still of others who wish to keep the past thoughts alive for their evilness of mind, it can't be said otherwise. Past loves, bereavement, financial greatness now no more, whatever it was has left its trail on life and is now confined to the echelons of history. We live in the present and our destiny lies in tomorrow which has nothing to do with the past even if decisions made yesterday affect what we do tomorrow, we can never live yesterdays decisions good or bad again. Trying to bring "closure" to the past is silly, because closure has already been effected, it's gone, so the only thing that people seek is something of a personal nature to try and bring form to it because they often can't bring together an understanding that "that's it" but it is, it's that simple. All this "we can rest now", "we can put it behind us", "we can do whatever" is unfortunately a selfish mind set often thrown up by the press or legally driven to try and add kudos but again the reality is you can't add kudos to the ghosts of time.

The problem with many people is that they are trying to find something tangible in life to give themselves meaning, importance, substance and an ability to proceed forwards with impunity and solidity, many fail. Grasping at intangible morsels of life as if that will help but sadly when they have tasted what they desire they find it is still not filling those voids within. When their desire to be emotionally quenched does not hit the mark they then set out on any other quest to see if that will effect a solution, sadly that doesn't help either. To feel really wholesome one must understand what life is all about and the past isn't something you can dance with in the present, memories are just that no matter how dear they are. If you for once delve into areas outside of substance then your whole ability will flounder and not only will life fragment it will be a job in itself to try and feel and see happiness other than for fleeting moments. Life is here, now, that is where you have to live, anywhere else and you are fooling yourself.

Ghosts don't have substance as we know it, they are the remnants of life past. If we choose to associate with anything that isn't here or to come then we are in for a rude awakening. Good mental health is our strongest essential asset if that goes we go with it. Love is the present foundation of humanity it's where everyone lives and moves and it's where we can interact. Our happiness is present time, our love is present time our life is present time and our future is partly present time. Making things up in our mind isn't smart, we need to see potential and not contrive responsibility of atonement because if it is atoned we are still left bereft of substance. For the deceased it's all too late and it means absolutely nothing. Doing things on behalf of the deceased and still say "I did it on their behalf" is a lie and not true and it smacks of selfishness all the way through. If you can't see life for what it is never expect to be happy.

WHEN OUR ASPIRATIONS DON'T COME TRUE

We start off in life with few dreams other than what's on our mind in the immediate future, we know in reality very little so our minds aren't cluttered up with endless possibilities, options or the material values of life. We know what love is but we rarely know what it is called, we don't know what respect is to a large extent and similarly don't understand what disrespect is, but we know what we want or think we what and definitely don't want. In short we are immature, everything we think is a very limited knowledge of life and what our parents have taught us or we have picked up on, so that can explain a lot as to how we think and act. As we get older our minds develop and our aptitudes also likewise form a complex understanding of our abilities, thoughts, intelligence, common sense and ideas as to how we personally would like life to unfold. We often have at least a two pronged version of life ahead, an ideal version and a version that incorporates reality to a very basic degree, however for some the dividing line is very narrow.

Life is a learning curve and sometimes that curve is vertical such is the lesson or lessons that we are confronting and trying our best to sort out. In fact at times so much is happening all at once that we often take a back seat and wonder what it's all about and that will things ever be the same or even just get better. But they do, we struggle or muddle onwards, we come through it all. Some seemingly come through the dark areas quicker than others, but there is usually a reason for this and there is usually something within the self that helps us along or hinders our pathway, attitude being one of the biggest pluses or minuses in our mental conditioning. Dwelling on the problem stop us seeing the solution, telling all and sundry about the state of our life can in effect give it gravitas in as much as it makes it into an even bigger episode and thus we now have to deal with a 'monster' we have created in our mind and try to give updates to those unfortunate ones that are silly enough to listen.

Disappointment shouldn't be an entity in our lives, it shouldn't be a weight that bears down upon us and stifles our creativity or zest to go forward. It shouldn't end up as a regret, nor should it be viewed as any kind of failure, in fact the reality is that all the really great people who have made a difference have failed endless times in their quest to reach whatever it is they were trying to attain. Very few indeed had help either, they were scorned by not only onlookers who were either sceptical or jealous but their own negative families who were in themselves dull, boring and uneventful in their own outlook. Many a person has set out in life to do one thing only to end up doing something completely different and a million miles away from their original thoughts.

As we travel life's high road we are exposed to many people, events and situations that offer opportunities that are way beyond our thoughts and feelings, these often stimulate areas within that laid dormant for many years and possible never ever been evaluated so we have never acted upon same. It doesn't matter what time of life we start something, it's immaterial we need to follow our pathway and not the bystanders pathways who are always full of negativity. We must never ever ask advice from anyone who has an aspiration less than our own, no matter who they are, their answers will be full of their own fears and insecurities. There is but one way in life and that is forward, regrets amount to nothing, wrong pathways account for experience and inner personal desire is ours and ours alone. We must always surround ourselves with positive people as they will want you to succeed even if they are not quite sure what it is you are doing, their sole energy however is love based, and that is enough for success. We must keep an open mind at all times even if we have a defined goal because if we are too rigid then opportunities that become available will float by to those who are more receptive and that enhance areas that we have never even thought about. It's good to be strong and persevere but at the same time expedient to be open to what we don't know which amounts to far more than we do know and there lies the success quotient.

When our original aspirations come to nought or don't materialise in the way we would have liked then it's time to review everything about us and around us. It's not to say downscaling or moving on or changing tack. Life is to be enjoyed come what may and the journey has to be enjoyed too, for if we put off enjoyment until our goal has been reached then it's all far too late and the moments en-route have been lost and if they are lost life is lost or at worst wasted. Not everything will become what we want it to be and we can't compare either, that doesn't hold water, neither does the thought of "it's not fair", etc. We are the masters of our ourselves whatever transpires, and thus we need to be at one with life as it has to be lived, enjoyed, laughed at at, kicked into shape. put into place and when we end up at the finish line all exhausted we can say "what a journey" with peace of mind and a restful heart. Many become successful (and that's subjective)  only to have had no life en-route and they tend to forget the bad times enjoying only what's left. Make sure that whatever happens you enjoy every moment you can as it can't ever be repeated.

GETTING IT RIGHT

There's one thing that really does 'rattle our cage' and that's when stuff goes wrong. It's so gratifying when our plans or circumstances fall into place it not only makes us feel good we even have a different perspective on life and the world. It's a mixture of compassion, elevation and greater understanding of all that's around us, but boy does it vanish when it all collides and goes awry. In reality it's only our mind that makes us think that way because things are as they are whatever happens the good, the bad and the indifferent, it's all processed by the self same computer - our mind. When we try to get it right it's because we have taken care and hopefully paid attention to what we are doing, so if it goes wrong we should have some idea as to how best to rectify it or pull it all together even if that is not really a very palatable idea. Overcoming disappointment is what most people tend to fall down upon, allowing the negativity of the situation to swirl around in the mind and then feeling sorry and wanting a degree of self compassion makes it even worse. The feeling that one gets in the pit of the stomach adds to the drama of it all, the mind searching for those seemingly illusive elements that we hopefully can latch upon to bring it all around again and make us feel as if nothing has happened, but it has.

It's so important to live your life with a feeling of contentment within and a feeling that you can also 'let go' when necessary too. It doesn't mean that life has to be fabulous and full of the riches that one feels that one deserves, but whatever you have and wherever you are and whatever you are going through an acceptance makes the negative values disappear. Mentally struggling takes up thought volume and in turn that narrows the space needed to process creativity, which in turn retards our thoughts, values and perspectives on life which in turn lowers our awareness and that in turn stops us enjoying the best of what's out there. It's a negative vicious circle each element feeding upon each other going round and round at the expense of our happiness, well being, health, all of which is called 'life'. It's important that whatever we do we do our best at for even at times that doesn't even go according to plan, never the less we get full marks for trying, we get nothing for doing nothing and even little more for doing things half heartedly. It's how we process our thoughts that makes a world of difference and it has amazing change properties within us when we are in alignment with ourselves and follow a purpose and direction whatever that it.

Getting it right is the number one aspect of having a correct 'Attitude', for without a correct attitude we not only don't get on well with life but are often ostracised by those around because they see us as not quite responsive or interested in anything but ourselves and our personal / internal thoughts on life and that 'woe is me' attitude then prevails. We need to respect who we are and at the same time not disrespect others which often goes 'hand in hand' , it's this dichotomy that lowers many people's resistance to moving on as they hold on to it and that's needless baggage. A hot air balloon rises when the ballast (the weights) are dropped and thus allows it to move upwards. Similarly life is very much the same in that if we are full of ballast then we will not only not move up we will stagnate and that will cause problems of its own. Moving on is the only way forward as life evolves whether we move in harmony with it or not we will subliminally be dragged along, so e need to end up where approximately we want o be and not just dumped somewhere because we didn't take any ownership of our existence.

UPPING YOUR GAME

Throughout our lives we have a series of ups and downs, sometimes what we experience is akin to free fall parachuting in that we soar to a dizzy height then drop uncontrollably somewhere that we hadn't bargained for. At times too life as we have been enjoying it comes to an abrupt end leaving us feeling somewhat empty inside and lacking in energy and mental charisma to go forward. Whatever it is we have to move on and move on under our own steam, not allowing others to take us forward by default into their world all of which is based upon their thoughts sometimes it's their thoughts that had cause the rift in the first place. Even if nothing in particular has happened to us, life never stays in the same groove so we need to progress from where we are otherwise we will again by default find that our 'cosy' environment has suddenly come to a big full stop. Our "full stop" however caused isn't fun, it not only turns our world upside down it causes many mind jolts that destabilise whom we are and our thoughts for the future. In the process of restating ourselves and placing our life back on track it can be for all of those around us to a time when they also assess themselves and their relationship with us, often having to make a concerted effort to alter it and the way in which they liaise with us.

It's always good to "up your game" to try better elevate your thoughts and feelings after all if we move on in life and take nothing of  what we have learned then it doesn't bode well for either the future or our stability or happiness. Life is "work in progress" and it's when we are "at one" with ourselves is when we can pick up on the nuances and the tell tale signs that should steer us around what is potentially looming large ahead of us. Following others isn't smart, what may seem like a good idea and worthwhile when others do something does not necessarily translate into us doing it. What emanates from within us is the only expedient step we can take. And whilst we see books on "success", rags to riches, step by step guide to becoming a billionaire, secrets of business, etc, all of which are a good read, the one thing they never ever state is that the difference between the author and the reader is "the time line".  Everything else is parallel and thus circumstances are never the same even if parameters seem identical. If all of these good reads were as they are purported to be we would have streams of wild successes whereas it's the opposite.

Upping our game at any stage is good even if it initially means cutting back or pruning what we have to secure a better base upon which to grow again. Life isn't linear and the "time line" always, always, always introduces aspects of 'now' which makes the theory of much of what we do, see, enact, read invalid even if the modus operandi is the same. It's like following a recipe, if you cook on a cold day or a hot day it can affect the cooking time, yet the recipe gives you the exact minutes. Variances in life can make a world of difference to the result and many people are successful because they hit a "right" moment which excels what they are doing, whilst others who do the very same thing hit a lull and the opposite happens.  Many a multi-national company launches a product which bombs out, only to re-launch it six months later and to takes off. Small businesses often don't have that latitude and the first failure leaves them with a massive debt that often they hardly recover from, but it doesn't mean that their product / service wasn't of excellent merit.

We can however "up our game" at our level, just what we do, say, our presentation, string of friends, etc, all makes a difference to the end result. We have to 'walk the walk' and not just theorise about it, which often happens when you read a book, you get excited and fired up by new ideas and thoughts, yet a week later you are still where you were before even if more knowledgeable. Translation and "time lines" often thwart most people leaving them a little despondent, it shouldn't as diligence has a way of overcoming the temporary set backs and negative periods when little seems to happen. We do control our own mind sets and as such should "bolster our thoughts ourself" by doing so we learn so much about what is around us as opposed to blending into what's around us which takes away our control and numbs our creativity. We evolve, so upping our game steers our course and stops us by default moving in a direction that we hadn't planned. In life there is much to have, over and above those areas of what we would like, but if we only adhere to "what we would like" we miss out on the possibilities and permutations that we hadn't even thought of or been privy to know. Allow the bigger picture to enter into your life and see what a vast difference it can make.

SPACIALITY AND GRATEFULNESS

We all possess to a degree an understanding, usually of a subliminal nature of "spacial awareness" and also of "being grateful" and whilst both may not seem to be related to each other they most definitely are. We more often than not like to see logic at work so without too much thought we can link A and B and come to some type of conclusion within our mind as to "why" or whether or not what we have assessed is of any importance to us. But in the "bigger picture" all these little aspects of whom we are do play a part in our roles in life as well as manifest themselves in our character. These traits in turn are usually made use of by marketing companies and the like in order to either give a better product / service or tailor make their current service to entice new and keep established customers. Similar traits can be manifestly different from many different peoples from different parts of the world, and what works in one country doesn't necessarily work in another, even mentalities change at certain levels too as does the general 'nonchalance' of living. That is for example what a businessman in Africa, Japan, UK, USA, South America, India, Middle East, etc, would do in an identical situation in another country, and it can be quite different in how and why they execute what they do and watching their body language and coherence to their "temporary environment" makes. The more "gratitude" we have within us the happier and more contented we become, and it allows us thus to "see" what needs to be done as to constantly striving to make things better which is predominantly a figment of our thoughts in relation to a potential that's "off course".

Of course we must never lose sight of the fact that we are all different and some people are more easy at travelling than others, never the less characters often reflect the country from whence they came and that brings with it a degree of "spacial presence" which can be identified as to even down to literally how people sit in a row of seats and how much space they take up (given like for like). Some people are predominantly aware of others whilst some seemingly are oblivious and some to the point they 'see' little of anything else until it almost hits them in the face. And whilst this may seem - to many people - superfluous it can have a big effect on how we "like" someone or even want to do business with them, and how our product is tailor made or how it's received etc. Similarly "attitude" plays a significant part of how we encompass life and how we enjoy it, and it usually goes hand in hand with our "spacial understanding" of it. Some people appear mean not because they necessarily are but just because they don't "think" of other people in their thought process, kindnesses or being thoughtful never or rarely crosses their minds and thus they form a certain "cold etiquette" towards others perceptions and feelings, all of which has an effect, an effect which in some circumstances could well negate themselves from what they seek. Moving further on taking such characteristics further the degree of gratefulness that they have within also manifests itself on their ability to interact, be observant, be understanding, be cooperative, be responsive, be pro-active, etc, and these again define a person further.

As simple as we think things are and the ease at which we think we can pin point others traits and  aptitudes is in reality not as easy as just looking and seeing what corresponds to 'our way' and if they don't basically correspond then they are less of a person or not "our type". We actively 'select' what fits in best with ourselves that's why being positive is so important, as generally 'like attracts like'. Mentality is important too and so is the "spacial awareness" of those around us for if they veer off too much from what we see and do and like, we definitely see them as 'not acceptable' to whom we are and our plans and way of life. This can as be seen as prejudice or classed as some other kind of "ist" which there are many, but in reality it is natural to get what most suits the position in many areas such as attitude, as a bad attitude or lacking in 'spacial aptitudes' can negate excellent qualifications and the position can be rendered useless accordingly. It's how we judge our friends and it's also mixed with emotions too which either enhance or clouds our judgement. It's all so complex and yet so simple because in a flash we can usually 'see' who is good or not regardless of their ability in most cases, it's when we become too technical and apply enforced structures that life takes a turn for the worst.

LOVE VERSUS FEAR - A CHOICE

We all have a fear of something even if it doesn't anymore 'rattle our cage' like it used to, maturity has a way of softening the blows in life to a large extent. Fear can present itself in many ways sometimes one can just have a fear of living in a certain country which is oppressive or in a somewhat 'narrow' household or sect, it can in fact be anything that's too restrictive. No one has the right to control another an if you allow your religion to control you - you are finished as has already been born out in those religiously controlled countries of today where everything takes a backward step in life and progress is a dirty word. Of course when you control you have little if no love within you at all, and where there is a void of love deceit, corruption, greed, devastation, stagnation, poverty, unhappiness and ultimately failure is but the sum total of what their worth is. Fear can be psychological, spiders. open places, the darkness, and whatever it is that manifests itself within you. It can be the fear of failure or being inadequate, it can be the fear of something new that for many is a hell in the making, whilst others see it as an endless area of opportunity, fear is but a mind construct.

The love walk, that is a way of life that sees the good in everything whilst not negating the bad, it doesn't offend nor take offence, it isn't judgemental, although still free to form an opinion, it doesn't want to cause harm to score points, and it doesn't want to mentally belittle nor put people down to make the self feel good. It similarly doesn't follow celebrities nor others of a hollow disposition whilst it sees the possible qualities they have within them as human beings and the unfortunate failings which the press seem to revel in too. The love walk promotes health, happiness and a direction free from others ideas who may wish to impart on you for their good either by deed or in a financial way for their gain. It promotes a freedom that frightens dictators and unleashes the bonds that cause subservience and the ties that many self impose for lack of direction and personal respect. It's a strength that needs no others nor excuses nor lies or subterfuge which those in imperious positions need to survive. It cuts through corporate deceit, it shuns media lies, it breaks those who impart self importance as a false means of covering up their own failings, and it drives a hard bargain towards those that deploy unfairness to gain ground for self greed. The penalty for loss of love is by its own volition is death by and suffering for the many.

None of us are perfect, we have downfalls, we come into situations that hinder our way forward, we too come across as recipients of unfairness and greed by others, and we get temporarily thwarted by the 'gatekeepers' in life, those again who take it on themselves to select of which very few have any credentials as to seeing the bigger picture. Positive people have a love walk, genuine positive people that is, not the so called "happy people" who put on a facade like the New Age or many Coaches who talk the talk but have yet to find the walk and who are if you listen carefully still finding themselves. The strength we need to soldier on against at times a back drop of contrived negativity and a world created by evil religions and those that seek greed as a God of their following crumbles with love as a base. We too overcome the negativity that so many absorb like a sponge until they become actually saturated with "stuff" that is not of their making and that's the time they themselves become ill both physically and mentally. Mental health and a feeling of helplessness for many in the West is a recurring condition, for those in the Middle East it's an endless torment that will not be resolved for many years to come. You have a choice as to where your love walk goes, only you can make love an aspect of your life regardless of circumstances and conditions, it is a choice.

FOR THE LOVE OF IT

What kind of a person are you? How do you look at life and how do you deal with all the ups and downs that one goes through? Are you a person that enjoys the good times but is a mess when it all goes 'belly up'? Are you a sociable and friendly type of person, someone who is approachable and leaves their own thoughts and feelings aside when others "grate on you" and start talking to you? Are you that affable soul that looks cheerful even when racing away with a hundred different things that need to be done? Can you see the 'bigger picture' predominantly in life as opposed to residing in a narrow microcosm of the narrow mindedness and stilted views? Are you an "all round" "Mr.Nice Guy" or are you touchy, snooty, stupid, selfish, picky, opinionated, not very knowledgeable about food or drink and selective to a high degree, stick to staid views, judgemental, etc, because if you are you will not be alone? Are you outgoing, gregarious, adventurous, or are you moody, insular, choosy, and not knowingly boring, even though you think you are the opposite - but if you are you are not alone? Do you have a good general knowledge of what's going on in the world or predominantly only know which celebrities are sleeping with whom and are in rehab because if that's your lot you are not alone? Do you just go through life or do you make a life, do you bring richness into your life or do you wait for richness whatever that is to enter via someone else- because if you do you are not alone? Do you walk your pathway in life or do you follow everyone else marvelling at what they have done but not  much to show of the self, because if you do you are not alone? Do you think you are loving and compassionate and warm and kind and generous and follow that through outside of the family to others - because if you think that then you are not alone? Do you think that you are intelligent, aware, knowledgeable, worldly, understanding, have social graces, etiquette, (whether you have or not or aspire to have) because if you do you are not alone.

What do you do for love in your life outside of your family, or does it just stop there? Do you even consider love to be an important or intricate part of your life or does it never cross your mind or just think that you are a loving sort of person and that's it? Do you feel that you are compassionate and because of that you are cool with that "smug" feeling that you have that trait so it's all all right? Are you open minded or like to think you are if asked yet deep down you are quite rigid in your thoughts and selective perceptions?  Do you think you should be better than you are or further on in life? Has your life a purpose or do you just live it and have private thoughts as to where  it should or might go? Are your aspirations wholesome or idealistically based upon what you would like to see as opposed to those based upon everyone not just your ideals or whims? What makes you happy, and where does your thought train reside when it comes to possession of material effects and acquisitions? Are you self confident yet not smug nor arrogant and do you ever get intimidated by those who seemingly have more than you or do you like to show off with the few bits that you have already to appease that inner self as to satisfaction and establishment of whom you are? Do you lead or follow, and if so are you happy with either or do you prefer to call yourself entrepreneurial as it sounds good, feels good and encompasses areas that you don't like to think about individually?

The love walk in life is all about us, no one else, the more love we have the lighter life is and the greater understanding we have for everything and the less emotionally involved we get with trivia or problems that are way beyond our control. We also more frequently see the "bigger picture" and don't take offence ever if we are called names or shouted at or whatever it may be, as it says more about the other person / others than ourselves. When things are not so hot knowing that it will get better enables us not to automatically take a ride on the "miserable" coach until it does, we are fine just now - regardless. The more we interact with elements, media, stories about what is not of our concern, the more we allow the "Sponge Effect" to take shape, i.e. we keep subliminally absorbing information that we don't or can't use until we become over full then start to weaken our resolve, we become saturated with trivia at the expense of real concern and love about the things we have authority and control over.

THE DARK CLOUDS OVERHEAD

At times in life a darkness seems to overtake us to the extent it subliminally alters our views, perceptions , feelings, outlook and degrees of positivity that we once thought was a strength that we had within. It's only a feeling regardless of the reality of circumstances and not those of perceived circumstances, and although it all may appear very real our thoughts pertaining to our feelings are created within our minds. When we take off on a plane we often go through cloud, rain, snow, etc, only to find a few minutes into the flight all has changed and there is bright sun or if at night clear views of the stars and moon. Life is exactly like that, the clouds that tend to darken our lives are but temporary and we need to understand that troubles never last forever neither does the happiness that we enjoy although it doesn't mean that the happiness will not return to something much better.  It's just that everything in life has a "shelf life" and we need to work to that premise. Knowing that we have the impetus to work for those moments when it all changes which could be as short as a few days or as long as a few months, never the less in between awaiting these breaks in the cloud we have to enjoy life and not endure it. We are the masters of our own body and mind and thus we have to do the best to respect that and not concede nor acquiesce to circumstances that are subject to change at a minutes notice.
Today we have a name for everything, like "None Eventful Progress" - you are bored, nothing more nothing less, yet all of a sudden because old fashioned boredom has been given a modern title someone somewhere will feel that they are suffering from it, and worse still some politically correct moron will take it seriously and now what has developed is a scenario that should never ever have existed. Mild depression is not uncommon but by no means a block or excuse  not to do anything unless you make it so. The more we pamper ourselves the worse life gets which is not the same as taking care of yourself. One finds all the successful people regardless of what they do etc, just get up and go for it, whereas those that don't get anywhere are just full of perpetual excuses as to why they can't or didn't or haven't or whatever it is they have conjured up. Most people who have experienced that "down" feeling and just received some good news snap out of it most immediately, such is the power of the mind. We must never underestimate ourselves, because if we feel down or low we lose the ability to see opportunity and that then is a very big negative aspect of life, not seeing potential, fun, happiness, laughter, etc.

We need every day of our lives to start it on a positive note regardless of the dexterity that we may need to just psych ourselves up for if we dwell on what's happening as opposed to ourselves and getting out of it then we will become the problem and not the solution. We are all different and react in different ways and even have different backgrounds and views on identical problems etc, but what is common to all are the self same feelings of lowness and that is the key problem itself, for where lowness exists so does the 'get out' solution too. We need to surround ourselves no matter who we are or where we are with positive people - no exceptions, they are the ones who are going to radiate the positive energy that you are going to fuel recovery upon and in turn reverse feed back energy to those around you too. Dark Clouds happen to anyone, sometimes they are very dark indeed and can render the self moribund and cast doubt as to any hope or indeed chance as to a way out, but clouds are but temporary and our efforts no matter what they are will force though that little glimmer of light that we all pick up on in an instant. The verve that the average human being possesses is astounding, however our mind which processes all of our body movements and thoughts needs to be updated like our computer software in order to maximise our potential and utilise full power not some sort of diluted strategy that leads nowhere.

FINDING THE SIGNAL IN THE NOISE

All around us is noise of some sort, whether it's the neighbours children, traffic, aircraft flying over, loud music, etc, whatever it is there whether we hear it or not. On the other side of the audible spectrum there resides another dimension in sound one that has defined purpose as well as other random sounds too, but for ourselves this organised noise is what makes life for us what it is today. It's the invisible signal noise of radio, television, internet, our mobile phones, our remote control units, sat nav, and the rest it's all there on designated frequencies doing what its supposed to do. In between that the ambient noise or white noise exists, it's the stuff that we can hear and something we either love or not, country dwellers experience different ambient noises from those living in the cities and by further definition those living near railways and airports experience variants within all of that, etc. The world in which we live we is bombarded by advertising all promising the thought of something better, success, keys to this n' that, instant point scoring, increase your rating, get your business more aware, nay for a small fee the secrets of the universe will uncovered by - whoever, it's all there if we choose to look, and if we don't choose to look they are there to tell us anyway. We are a brilliant and boastful and deceitful society mixing a little of this, a little of that and with a bit of strategic marketing until it all comes together as "today's flavour" an elixir that everyone just 'has' to buy, all very California. Which is not to say it doesn't work, but what it doesn't bring into its algorithms are the times lines and numerous coefficients that actually stop it being a run away success, as most products" have like pre-packed food a shelf life after which it doesn't go off as such but becomes superseded by an updated model, by another creator, definitely very California.

There is a purpose and a success trail for all of us, and whilst latching on to others formulas and strategies which may coincide or assist us with what we are doing we can if not careful get bogged down in areas which are not conducive nor creative to what we are doing, even if in themselves they are fabulous. There is a degree of uniqueness about each and every one of us whether we allow this to shine or keep it behind locked doors is down to us. Our uniqueness is very real, we can hear the voice of our partner or friend over and above all others if close by, and if we really try we can hear other information too that many just allow to pass by. Similarly if we seek a trajectory in life or a way forward it must be something that resonates well even if initially we are the only ones to see it, which is often the case. Within the "white noise" there is "our pathway" our own unique signal that no amount of promotion or advertising will help secure or bring around success, if what we are aiming for doesn't have that resounding feeling and resonance then it will just be something that's smart or good but goes no further, and how many times have we all seen that, and indeed perhaps with our own projects not proceeding as wished.

In the space arena stations are all over the world listening for those feint sounds that will indicate a potential, we can hear noises in our car when it goes wrong, and indeed surveillance systems listen for those extraordinary sounds over and above the backdrop of commonplace to decipher and deceminate tell tale areas that give knowledge and advantage. Out there waiting to help us all become rich and famous are those who for a fee will 'tell all' their systems, (or rather unlock a bit at a time costing each step of the way) unleashing designer understanding, knowledge, methodology, schemes, etc, which will enable us to reach  where we think we need to be or if greedy desire. For many their desire is possibly a step too far even if what they do is commendable, it's a bit like driving a normal car 'off road' whereas a 4x4 would have been the best option. It's these nuances and differences that sometimes just can't take in or accommodate differences that even experts don't see or want to see for fear themselves of losing a sale. If what we do is inherent then we would 'see' the little things that are likely to accelerate where we need to go, or have some catalytic action and within that 'white noise' we would both see and feel that pathway which others would completely miss out or be oblivious of.
