OUT OF SORTS WITH LIFE

How we feel about life varies from moment to moment, sometimes we just feel "out of it" for no apparent reason, other times there are a number of issues going through our minds and at other moments we just lose focus on whom we are where we are going and that possibly life isn't offering much in the area of stimulus or excitement. Our reality is what we live in, whatever life is or isn't it's our take on it that makes us think and feel the way we do. Our reality can make our lives or lead us down a road of hard work and toil, it can cloud our judgement, our thoughts, our feelings, our clarity and our overall happiness factor. Whatever we experience we process it via our minds and take whatever course of action we deem appropriate including becoming remorse, miserable and sullen, it's self pity taking over but the bottom line is it's you who has instigated it, no one else. There is no such thing as "well you'd be like this if you had ..... " or "life has made me this way" life has done no such thing, if you want to be selfish and small minded that's a choice you have made, it's not like a virus that you can pick up. Of course mild forms of depression are a different matter, often circumstances and solutions weight heavily and we can't process it all proficiently enough so we go into a dull state of regressive thought, yet here again many induce such a state on to themselves as they actually feel it's a worthy and plausible thing to do which gains a degree of respect, where did that notion ever come from?  Some even think it's smart to say "I'm depressed", "I'm stressed" and throw in the Hollywood drama of responses and toned voice as if it heightens their credibility factor.

There is only one way to deal with life being out of sorts and that is to literally deal with it yourself by not giving in and making yourself feel bad. Everything has a lifespan, both good and bad things come to an end and circumstances change but facing up to adversity is by far the best way to keep your mind, body and soul in pristine condition and enjoy the life ride as opposed to enduring it then harbouring the memories. For those who were seeking an easy option or an answer that's far easier and there are many who perpetually seek the easy way if foolishly, you reap what you sow. For those that "get on" in life and just "do it" the rewards are great as is self confidence, understanding, compassion, drive, happiness and fortitude. If we can't keep a good council then no one else can do it for us no matter how much they want to. What goes on in our heads is ours and only ours and no manner of help, advice or strategies given by others will change how you think unless you want that to happen.

Life is what it is, it doesn't have the ability to make a choice for you or want to make it extra nice because it likes you or wants to "get back" at you because it doesn't, it's not that fragile nor thoughtful. Life is exactly what it is and that's a culmination of endless options and permutations coming together all at once all the time, hence change happens sometimes suddenly other times gradually, but change never the less happens. Life can throw into our pathway a demagogue of  choices all of which are not so savoury, similarly even the good choices have repercussions and strings to them. Our own verve and tenacity pulls us through, bestows a degree of authority, success and knowledge and it goes officially under the banner of experience. Whether we take heed of that experience and decide regardless to enjoy life is down to us, it's not a point of discussion for friends nor anyone else. The more we decide to enjoy and not be a sponge to what's around us the better life will not only become but our whole attitude and the attitude of others around us will improve and before we know it there will be an uplift from where we were to a more positive and refreshing stance in life. If we challenge the good to find credibility with the option of reverting back to bad if it doesn't pan out then you are really pathetic and need to alter your complete ideology about yourself and life. Like attracts like and negativity attracts negativity, positivity attracts positivity, your option, your choice.

ONE SCENE - THREE VIEWS

What truth there is today in what we read or hear varies enormously and how the facts are defined are usually more about who is saying what than the physicality of it as it is all so biased. There are predominantly three types of reporting or stating the facts all carefully designed to reflect the views of who is saying what and how they would like you to think of them. There is the political reporting from a politician, then there is the media reporting and then there is the personal reporting which can also vary enormously depending upon your degree of understanding or how hysterically defined you are yourself. The political view point say to the war in Afghanistan as a point in question is "We are going to overcome Al Queda restore Democracy and give power back to the people allow them to manage their own affairs" etc, which is rubbish as it won't happen in this century in Afghanistan, but that's political rhetoric (even if well meant) living in cookoo land. Then there is the media version on Afghanistan, "To date thousands have died people are without water and electricity is erratic in that the power supplies cannot cope with demand. Life is full of daily suicide bombers causing untold grief and anxiety etc", and so it goes on outlining all that's bad and inhuman which in an Islamic state is not difficult. Then there is the personal delivery and that you make up for yourselves as it can vary and you are a part of that variance and hold opinions yourself even if they are wrong from a total lack of defined knowledge. Most people think they are right based upon very little real understanding, but that's OK we all know that and as you have to live with your opinions that's OK too.

But where does it leave us all, getting so much confused information none of it totally inaccurate but all very biased and contrived. How do we assimilate it all and how far does it go to getting a decent picture of what is really happening, because political statements will veer well away from any negativity, media statements will highlight it, neither will meet in the middle, and the public will say what they want depending upon their pre-formed bias anyway. Life goes on and we have to do what we have to do but the very worst thing that can happen is that we become "armchair experts" like the political marionettes in the television debate programmes, all seemingly holding accredited positions and all constantly not daring to be totally honest for "fear of reprisals" and all getting it consistently wrong. It comes under entertainment so that's what it is. But as individuals we need to understand a degree of real truth, not a truth that harbours elements that is "not spoken about" but a truth that's less biased and covers a cross section of information not a heavily weighted section that is more likely to gain attention, even though like any news today it's all so hyped adding to the drama via their over stated failed Hollywood pros that it is all akin to a fashion of wallpaper rather than what it's meant to be. Where others suffer grief its fodder for the media, it's the basis of a news programme nothing more and one atrocity is moved on to another and then another, without them there wouldn't be any news at all, or it would be good news and that's the last thing stations want.

We can't help but pick up from the ambient wallpaper of the backdrop of life, we are observant to a degree and we have to meld that in with our own life and how if at all it affects us and where we are likely to go. After all we are the masters of our own ship and we have to steer it through a whole range of different tides, weathers and obstacles that are in our lives ahead of us, so it's only expedient that we want as much peace as possible in every area of our lives. And as war costs a load of money it makes the economy less vibrant and produces as a degree of melancholy too as death is almost an inevitable side effect. Our understanding in life is what makes a country what it is, hence Africa and the Middle East are incredibly biased towards a negative life that they bring on much of their own demise especially if it's religiously intertwined, almost the kiss of death itself. The happiness of a nation is reflected in the people, the people reflect their lives and what they know, if what they know is wrong they will in turn give out wrong signals and eventually the gap between right and wrong will cause a disruption that will bring on disharmony. When talking make sure what you say has truth in it an not just an opinion on it as the more you say something the more you will become attached to it and if the subject moves on you won't. Bias is a part of life, make sure that you are not taken in even with what resonates well within you or suites your way of thinking otherwise you'll end up out on a limb and the happiness factor will cease to flow.

PLAYING GOD

The irony and strangeness of religious people is often so baffling one wonders if in fact they are by default devil worshippers in disguise. Religion by its' own hand and merit is flawed, it has to be because it has the creation of man himself in it and as such man is flawed and succumbs to faults, some more than others. As we all know ourselves that over time stories get exaggerated and added to and then one gets zealots and of course corruption of the state and divisive people and before you know it you have rituals and routines that have nothing whatsoever to do with God or indeed anything else. It's all a construct of "charades" or "Chinese whispers" and the unfortunate thing is the congregation follow like lemmings the unscrupulous leaders who enjoy their degree of 'power' and income. All the pomp and ceremony that the Catholic Church goes through and worshipping Mary of all people when Jesus "is the man"  and indeed worshipping goodness knows how many saints and self created idols that are born out from their own arrogant mindsets. It's all like Alice In Wonderland or perhaps The Wizard of Oz as the pope wears the exact same red shoes as Dorothy did. And then we have Islam, where there isn't a stable Islamic country on planet earth, in fact there probably isn't a stable Muslim too as every day in some part of the world some Muslin is killing someone or plotting to kill someone or terrorise someone, where Islam is responsible for over 95% of global terrorism on behalf of their loving God of course, so it's all right to kill in those circumstances I suppose. But if you kill on behalf of God what does the Devil do?

It's not that religions set out to be debased and rank with guilt, fear, repression and the rest but it does serve a purpose for controlling the population and whilst initially it was supposed to preach the 'Love of God' whatever the origination of the God, because Man has a hand in the creation of it it's like digital reproduction in that if there is a fault it will perpetuate and more faults then creep in and so it all starts. Where "blasphemy" in some countries even causes the death penalty to be invoked on behalf of the loving God and words like tolerance, love, freedom, harmony are directed by force so that all comply like robots to a common doctrine so all such countries suffer from a lack of real creativity and thus rely on others countries who develop to sustain them, in fact they are parasites by their own hand. If you believe in God you are his servants NOT representatives, taking God into your own hand is leading to your own "eternal death".

If you are a parent and have children you already know that they when young they are definitely going to disobey you, as indeed you did when you were little, you get annoyed but only for their sake as at times what one did wasn't very good or possibly dangerous. If you believe in God then you must understand that He created the Universe and all that's in it (Let there be Light) and obviously knows all about quantum physics and stuff like that and indeed equations that we don't even know exists, so if we as mere pathetic humans go "off line" at times then He will forgive us as we forgive our children because we love them, and He loves us UNCONDITIONALLY.  God represents "unconditional love" something that humans just can't do, and it's definitely absent in Islam, but many individuals approach that score quite well. Even if our child ends up as a mass murdered and in prison, we can still love them even if at the same time grossly disappointed and dismayed at what has materialised. Many Eastern European / Eastern Asian families don't see love like this for them it's a matter of face, and whatever others think which is stupid but says a lot about their cultures. For societies to take on the onus that blasphemy is punishable by death it begs to raise the issue that their God is in fact weak and can't tolerate such misbehaviour or actions from His own creation, which sounds weird. The more insecure people are the more they have to make noises to try and defend themselves because they in themselves fear that behind what they do is an emptiness and one only has to look at the humanitarian facts to see a pattern of nothingness that has evolved.

Where in places whole country laws have been "made up" on behalf of the individual in the name of God, but this is not only subjective it's totally wrong, as communication with God is between God and the individual NO ONE ELSE.  Such regimes falter and are at the mercy of  perpetual  insecurity both as a country and the people who eventually become paranoid and religiously inane as they believe in what they are taught as opposed to having a belief which brings with it inherent and firm stability, warmth, compassion, freedom and a higher intelligence. There's a big difference between Religious people and those who believe in God. The former are failures whilst the latter are all successes as they believe God is with them 24/7 wherever they are, no pomp or ritual. The litmus test is being shipwrecked on a desert island the religious go to pieces whilst the believers get their strength from God and make it work. How you apportion your thoughts are up to you, politicians can't speak the truth as they talk in words called "politics" and are by definition today weak not like our forefathers who were strong and made bold decisions. If you are strong and your faith is strong it doesn't matter what someone says about you or your God or if they burn your religious book, it's only material paper and print and glue, it's the weak and shallow and resentful and hateful that make a noise because they dare not feel that if all fails failure is what's left. You can't insult God because He loves you unconditionally you can only insult man because man has an ego and failure within.
