BEING IN THE LOOP

Everything in life is relative, and what one sees as something spectacular others see it as just what it is as it means little more than the entity of itself. If one travels frequently to all parts of the globe then travel is no big deal even if it stimulates degrees of excitement, to those that travel once or twice a year it's almost an event in itself. Those that have expensive cars see them for what they are and can afford, to others they are an entity in another dimension of driving. Those that frequent expensive restaurants on a regular basis enjoy a different experience from those that see going out to an expensive restaurant as a 'special occasion'  and so it goes on. And whilst there is no wrong nor right the emotional aspects of perception can either reduce or elevate one's thoughts on life and one's abilities to communicate effectively. Our friends and social strata and gathering account for our ability to be able to proficiently do what we do and be accepted for same with others regardless of whether they do more or less and regardless of their circumstances. Unfortunately emotions fall into the equation far too often and greed, jealousy, ego, etc, rear their ugly head and then everything goes belly up or sour.

We migrate to those who love us 'warts an all' and tend to take a wider berth with those that have opinions on what we do or have because it's dull, boring and none of their business anyway. At times because of business we have to get along with those who don't particularly like us for whatever reason but we do so because it's expedient and has a purpose and we know that showing negative feelings is a lack of self control, low life mentality and stunted thoughts so we move on. It takes all sorts to make a world, and there are those at the opposite end of the spectrum in the voluntary sector that are priceless human beings devoting their lives to what they believe for little reward in the material stakes. It's whatever floats your boat and we can't judge what is better for everyone has a place in life and a purpose even if some don't want to utilise it because of their own negative self thoughts.

Our views, creativity, direction, ideas if they are to be implemented and put to good use or at least given a hearing need to be either directed to appropriate sources that understand where we are coming from, even if they don't like what we have. Or we have to attract those around us that are 'likeminded' as that will help us in bouncing off thoughts and empathising with what we wish to put out. But it doesn't stop their because there are those who may share a commonality of thought in a certain direction and yet have a totally different perspective of life and that can not only be frustrating but hinder your own thoughts which have a higher calling than just an understanding and an interest. It's here that many areas of life fall down as personal thought over and above knowledge takes a tumble, what some see as a need others don't, what some see as potential or greatness others don't, what some see as the 'bigger picture' others don't see anything other than their own microcosm of space, and without due understanding rifts develop often beyond reproach or repair. It we are to venture into any type of thinking that frees us up from convention then we need to look at all that is around us and not just where we are at, for if we do that we will forever be hindering our own progress no matter far up the ladder we are already.

The greatness of what is available in life goes a long way to allowing our minds to expand and understand as opposed to storing potted versions of different people and different things and then using that limited knowledge as a base for further thought or decision making. Which by default eliminates much of the realness and facts that we don't have to hand. It's almost like the 'armchair expert' or TV commentary which is forever manufactured and manipulated to produce an entertaining result mixing fact and fiction. Those in "the loop" our loop of friends and acquaintances that resonate at different levels are essential to us even if there is a distance involved. Some we would talk to on a certain level others we wouldn't it varies so much but by and large it's needful for us so that we can feel more at ease with ourselves and move on and enjoy a degree of camaraderie for without that frustrations build up. Cultivate new friends who resonate with whom you are, it's not the easiest of things to do but it does pay off and potential is forever present, whereas being alone is a one way journey to nowhere.

MOVING ON

Our lives comprise of a series of defined areas where we ourselves strive or aim to get to, many of them we succeed, and some are areas where life does its own thing and we end up as recipients of circumstances and weird situations at times also. It happens to everyone and there are no favourites nor prisoners taken in the process. We are as individuals entities of our own making, that is our minds are ours from day one until the day we die, and once we reach our teens we are basically 'on our own' as far as how we think via our individuality and where our perceptions of life are concerned. We can be well educated and stupid or we can be far less educated and very wise, neither wisdom nor stupidity are linked to education we need a modicum of each to go forward. Many is the time that creativity is born out of little education but the wisdom has allowed others to take over and uphold what the originator lacks, everything in its place. You can also end up as very well educated and become a television expert that talks a load of rubbish and gets it all wrong as what they think or surmise is basically based upon here say. The fluidity of life today especially with social networking and viral growth has almost eliminated extrapolations and the unexpected is now the expected.

Whether we like it or not we move on, life evolves and we get taken with it lock stock and barrel it's only when we decide to do something of our own volition that we can define more succinctly a future for ourselves and where we would like to be placed, even if it's a constant striving of modifications en-route. There is but one guarantee in life and that's death and here lies a whole load of conjecture as to the after life or the 'that's your lot' theory, options are always open. But whilst we are alive we need to do the best we can and that takes a great deal of personal dexterity in order to at least respect whom we are as individuals and be selective who we allow into our lives on our journey. Our sentient capability gives us feelings and a a purpose to keep going even if some don't exactly know why or possibly care, but it takes all sorts to make a world. Our progress encompasses many hurdles and also many joys too which we must never ever overlook by dwelling upon what wasn't that exciting as it will quell our focus and stymie our ability to proficiently enjoy tomorrow and the day after.

Countries move onwards but not neccessarily to better things, business move on and close down, areas move on and get demolished, and moving on doesn't automatically denote better, although in most cases the striving force is for better even if the end product is the opposite. Moving on at times is more of a metamorphasis in that what one moves on to bears no resemblance to the past or what was originally envisaged, it's therefor impertaive that one has an open mind to allow drastic yet far better changes take place than to hold on to the past and wollow in the detritus of redundant life being regurgitated for the sake of it. It's sometimers leaving our comfort zone that is the achiles heal and we dare not make those needed moves so life literally grates as it fights with potential and throws up an unstable present that has little if nothing to offer. Life can be good or it can be resilient and keep us firmly placed to where we are, we have the ability to change even if a little, and don't forget it takes a small pin to burst a big balloon. Similarly any small changes we make can have positive changes that we can enjoy ahead of us.

GRIEF

Grief can be so debilitating that it takes a hold of life and steers you into a corner and holds you there to the extent that at times one feels that nothing will ever be the same ever again, and the truth is it won't. It's not that life won't be fun and exciting anymore nor the will to proceed won't return and life will be as it is from there onwards worthy of living and worthy of participating and communing with those around you. It's ironic however that when grief strikes and it can and does happen to almost all of us at some time in our lives those that we feel can or could offer support like family and our religion offer nothing but coldness and a wall of stone, especially where bereavement is concerned. It can be like vampires coming out of the woodwork all seeing what they can get and finding every legal excuse to get more. Where at one stage of life "love" was a supposedly unspoken entity it's now a cold war and each to his own, where the smiles reveal the fangs and frosty sliver. And whilst to some this may seem gruesome it is unfortunately for many a very real reality. That at times many fear for their own sanity and purpose and most of all "love" for themselves, that someone "out there" knows and understands and will share their real tears and not some emotional outburst like that of little children "on and off" at the flick of a selfish thought. The relations that never liked you or you were the wrong religion, but now your partner has died it all comes to roost their evilness starts to ooze out.

How we deal with real grief is down to us, and we are all different those that cry the most are often the insipid selfish ones that want everyone to join them in what they are going through whilst those that tend to stave off such are harbouring the love of the deceased that helps even through the trauma of the aftermath. Of course and "here we go again" religions mount on the grief trip after all it gives them something to do, wearing dull dark clothes, moping around with long faces, it's as if the deceased didn't actually love you after all and you've just found out. If whoever it is that has died loved you then THE LAST thing they would wish is that you be unhappy, otherwise what's the point of it all. And sympathy is the shallow side of offering real help to the extent many offer sympathy but no help and actually get a "high" of trying to buck the other person up whereas they are acting as vampires themselves draining their captive of energy for themselves. Sympathy has an effect of boosting others up, then when you leave them they have an almighty low afterwards. Not very nice.

Age has a related value on our perceptions in life, everything revolves around what we have done, are doing and will be doing, although the variances and boundaries can be very muted and glide into each other. What age doesn't have is a monopoly on pain, especially the mental type of pain, that is possibly the most debilitating as it literally messes up your whole control system. It's so easy to become introverted when grief strikes that it can form a situation where you rarely come out of it, this happens in the Middle East as they go to town on morbidity it's a way of life as is complaining and moaning yet doing nothing to rectify it, however they don't have any exclusivity or monopoly on it. One thing that grief often brings home is the reality of who you are in life and what others mean to you, your 'family' may be those you have chosen to be around you as opposed to the biological ones who are judgemental and shallow. It brings home too where you stand in life and what all around you means with regards happiness, freedom, duties, life itself and what and how you choose to think about things in general. Grief is but a stepping stone and depending upon your belief you either move on - not forgetting the past as you can't - or dwell forever where you are and carry it as a burden. Never forget if love is involved then there is a real freedom, but a genuine freedom not a selfish freedom that you keep to yourself as if it's something exclusive because it's not.

In times of trouble don't scorn those that you think could offer some support as for them it could also be difficult to muster up the ability to offer it, and beware of those who seemingly offer everything because they can, it's at times those that do little that think deeply and the effusive ones that are shallow. One must always feel the depth of love and the need from others which is over and above sheer words and never allow the feeling of self sorrow to overtake who you are despite the pain that one may be reliving for a while. An understanding of those that now scorn, pour oil on troubled waters, who reject, who reprimand and turn face, who show their true colours be at one with yourself, because the love that YOU had with that significant other was priceless and above their deceitful facade. Life is for living, for loving and that is the only golden rule for grief, and the only golden rule for your own self is that of love at any cost, it's never left, and what was there is still there even if slightly but temporarily tarnished, it's still there in all its glory. Don't ever turn your back on it no matter what.

PASSING PHASES

For everyone life is full of ups and downs, we don't need to be reminded of that, at times life goes swimmingly well and then it changes to something else, not necessarily bad or worse but like you've just been grounded and almost treading water as nothing seems to materialise or move forward in the way or ways you would like or have indeed anticipated. However if you just accept and feel low when the good times appear to stop then you will have succumbed to a nothingness of our own creation. Everything has a shelf life or best before date including ourselves so it stands to reason that aspects in life have the same, just because we don't want good or nice things to come to an end is immaterial and a bit stupid also. The fear of things going wrong isn't a valid fear as if fear is valid at all, but it's not even worthy of contemplation as it leaves room for instability to take hold. It's funny that at times when things are going well people become complacent as it all seems nice and bubbly, then when it stops they become remorseful and take on that "woe is me" attitude to varying degrees. Whereas we should be vigilant at all times so that the ups and downs are evened out somewhat and we can then best enjoy the good times and not have to endure the not so good times.

The worst thing we can do is forever compare ourselves or circumstances or situations to others, none of it is relevant, and if the opportunity to do what others do or did comes along it would never manifest itself the same way, in fact you would be surprised at the reaction you have should you ever be faced with such choices and availability. Our assumptions in some area  of life are so crass that we deem we "know" ourselves but often perceptions and the reality of affordable or doable choice takes the potential excitement out of literally doing it as we can then see beyond simple areas or mere acquisitions that were once on our "wish list" and move to more tangible areas that can provide more substance both physically and mentally. Many people let themselves down badly and protract a dullness in life through the sheer desire to want or do something which once gotten is placed in the "OK" box in the mind and then they wander on to something else and whilst it may be nice to have it doesn't further their inner self to satisfaction or happiness.

Every area of our life is a phase, it's either work, relationship, financial, age related and it's never ever the same. Maturity quells for most people desires that were strong when young but mean little later on. As life progresses one also notes that the 'self' is more important than following others who if died wouldn't make the slightest difference to life except those around them but not you. It's not that degrees of selfishness take a hold it's the importance and trivia that separates out what is indeed pertinent to your life after all you are the only one to steer your ship no one else. It also doesn't mean you can't follow your favourite sports person or whatever, it's just a perspective that puts you more firmly in charge and allows you to balance your emotions accordingly which has an elevatory effect. If we can't do things for ourselves no one can, even if they assist us greatly it's still us that has to walk the walk and talk the talk.

If you feel that life has becalmed you worry not as that is the worst thing you can do, worry has the effect of neutralising creativity and acting as a magnet for a whole array of negativity which is the last thing you need. Being positive even in the face of adversity is the answer to shaking off both the blues and what is ahead of you that's of no consequence. Positive attitudes attract positive people so if you are on a sympathy trip you've lost, and don't take to heart what others are perceivably doing and you are not, you don't know what they have gone through or are indeed going through either, which could be ten times worse than yourself. If you want to succeed at anything you have to exude it otherwise people will not trust you respect you nor think you are worthy either. So much is in your own hands that thinking everything is at the mercy of others will eliminate any opportunity that's there, people need people, the good and successful need people to keep good and successful it just doesn't happen in isolation. You too can be good and successful there's no reason why not, unless you think there is then it's all back down to you.

HELP WHERE IT IS NEEDED

There's nothing wrong with real honest help when needed, it goes a long way to assisting us in our quest and journey in life. Whether it's financial, gardening, with our IT, knowledge, experience, it matters not, when we need help we need help. Of course help can be sub-divided into what is essential and expedient and what just lightens the load or makes things a bit easier, and the difference can be quite substantial. Help commercially costs and some companies actually make their money on help or support more than the product, a bit like printers where cartridges or at least the branded ones can almost cost the same as the printer itself, all carefully worked out - a sprat to catch a mackerel. Very little in the business world is genuinely free, not that it can be after all there are costs involved but the difference between offering a service and greed is getting far less, and often the service isn't as competent as it once was.

There is the type of help too that's benevolent, that we do to help others or give assistance or offer support because we think that whatever it is is worthwhile or the person / people we support are worthy of our kind deed. Giving is actually very cathartic, not to everyone as the mean see life differently, but the vast majority of the population have strong and endearing feelings about fellow man, even if they don't like some areas of it. Giving actually produces in most people a feeling of well being and it's not always of a financial nature it can be just listening to the plight of someone as well as offering your knowledge and experience in a matter. Those that have 'cold hearts' usually have few if not any friends, and if single end up very lonely. In life everything has repercussions and an action to it that either promotes one's life of demotes it, our choices and decisions do make a difference to the quality of life we enjoy, even if it's at times not that great.

The Western world has for years supported the "third world" much of the funds have made real progress in the lives of many people, but much has be syphoned off to the bureaucratic structures of the respective countries for their own needs, such is life in such places. Where help is often given freely the feeling that it has not been used for purpose makes people feel 'used' and 'abused' where their kindness and generosity has been misplaced. This thought again follows in a service of a product via a manufacturer it's all to do with a quality threshold and why some companies fair better than others. Help is a two way structure, we give help or assistance and in turn at times we need it ourselves even if it's just down to filling our tax forms out, if we are stuck and don't know - we need help, otherwise we could literally do ourselves a disservice in the process.

Some people are generous to a fault, it's a natural trait, others are more discerning, some are even gullible and don't really help because by assisting those that are asking for help it stops them actually getting something really tangible for themselves, such as the lazy and those who just want to take seeing no other option. Then of course there are those who do nothing, their motto is 'I don't ask or take so I don't give', but then that never lasts for long for the moment they require help of great need to them they see another world out there and one which they have been sadly missing out on for so long. The base line for everyone in life is you only get out what you put in, and it may seem from the side lines that that is disproportionate, but at the end of the day you haven't seen what has been nor what is about to happen.

NEPHESH, ABOMINATION AND DESOLATION

Life is speeding up, we don't need scientists to tell us that, we see only too well how societies the world over are changing beyond what they were just a few years ago many actually getting worse. Religions are losing the plot thick and fast and many of the "old and staid" religions like Islam are finding it difficult to equate to modern day technology and science via their interpretation as most creativity is Western orientated and has no or little Islamic involvement within it even though they partake of the fruits of such success as receivers and not creators. But even here most religions (a religions being created version from an original book Bible, Torah, Koran, etc is man made and therefore from day one full of faults). They are tethering themselves to their own post and are in the process setting fire to same. Is there any wonder why the world by and large receives no help from God when those worshipping same are out of kilter with truth and love. Love being the base parameter for any belief in God and it is the ONLY conduit to God, so no matter what you do or say if love isn't there then nothing is. Hence global areas in the Middle East and Africa are so devastated with turmoil and it's getting worse and predominantly will, with no end in sight.

Our soul the bit that is us and lives on when our material carcase is of no further use is at our own building whilst we are alive, the Naphesh is what separates us higher human beings from lesser creatures and animals, although at times one wonders. It is the foundation of human life, with Sephiroth and Ruach displaying higher activity of beauty, moral qualities and sovereign to whom we are. These exist regardless of what we believe or understand but if we negate them by our lower action in life then there is little chance of us developing further on our way forwards. Today many priests/ rabbis / imams, etc assume a role of God's representative or some authority or power, which is blasphemous to the letter in any religion whether they know off by heart every word in their respective book. They are like everyone else servants of God and have no powers or abilities or authorities than anyone else, except what they have made up. What people believe is up to them, but believing in something that doesn't exist results in nothing happening ever, and that's all coming out to the for at this moment in time, where religious impotence is ripe as is frustration. And praying to God, whichever one you choose will not bring positive effects, healing, help, assistance, nor anything else whilst your heart is a raging turmoil of evil, retribution, killing, and old and traditional rules  and regulations that mean at the end of the day nothing but repression.

If you believe in God (any one will do) then you must believe that God created the universe and everything pertaining to it, so He knows all about quantum theories and light transference and higher ethereal activity, which makes one's thoughts of planet earth not only pedestrian but pathetically ignorant and dull in comparison. Yet people fight for their God but in doing so they are actually "Dancing With The Devil" hence many religions live in desperation, repression, oppression, killing, suffer world problems, like drought, floods, poverty, and rebellion of life, etc). The gross ignorance and stupidity of being offended because someone burnt a paper copy of a religious book and thus thousands go on the rampage killing. when did God say he was offended or that one should kill when your God is supposed to represent pure and unconditional love, unless your God is the Devil in disguise. What debased mentality is taught by low life creatures preaching a way of life that leads to only failure, who are these people that live in a microcosm of evil and see nothing outside of it? The good news is that you don't need any of them at all, they like you are mortal and therefore subject to evil doings themselves. But you have a choice to follow the goodness, the love walk, the happiness trail and in doing so you'll leave all the evil ones to perish under their own authority. If you do believe in God and preach ill doctrine then hell is awaiting you with open arms.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH LIFE

Most people seem to have a gripe at something or another, it's not that they are predominantly moaners and groaners it's just that there is something that slightly jars with them with regards certain topics or people or evil religions forever killing or governments being weak or whatever it is. We have an opinion in life even if we choose not to vent it we still have some thoughts and it's those thoughts that subliminally fuel a whole array of feelings regarding life. Over and above this there are various levels of thought sometimes just residing there and unchecked, for example if you say to someone would you like to be more happy in life the answer is predominantly a 'yes. Then if you say to them are you unhappy they predominantly say "no", so what is it that that could make you more happy other than the bog standard answers like "more money", "new car"  whatever it is. It's usually material things which can give a degree of happiness but it's only for a fleeting moment, once you get what you want your desires move on and so it goes, a bit like the "carrot and the donkey" situation.

Wanting more or better isn't at all wrong, it's actually quite natural, but happiness hasn't really much to do with your desires it's more to do with the state of your mind, and your literal mind not something that's hypothetical and conjured up because it sounds impressive or incorporates a list of 'likes'. Life will never ever be perfect because 'man' as a race isn't perfect so we in our judgement have to decide where we are and that we are going to enjoy what we have got even if at the same time we strive for better. That way we carry happiness with us and the joy of life and it makes everything far better and we communicate far more efficiently too and have the ability to understand more proficiently at events around us that happen. There are to many stock questions stock answers, people almost automatically say "yes" if it involves more of something good or tangible, even if they can't readily think of what to do with them immediately. Similarly if you asked someone to name three important things in their lives they initially struggle even if they are married with two children. It's not that those (their partner and two children) aren't the most important things in their lives and once pointed out state "yes they are" it's the initial thought that it has to be something material that's been acquisitioned or bought or a legacy or a winning of something.

For many life isn't that bad, they know many of the global circumstances and situations are beyond their control and that their lives are in their domain no one else's so even if it could be better the current enjoyment is still there and still very tangible. How we think and our reliance on negative emotions steers our course, we are the only drivers of our vehicle called "self" or "me" so if we go out of kilter then we wander aimlessly and start to veer all over the place which in turn causes further consternation and we sail at times too close to the rocks and without any safety boat should we collide. Collectively people can do many things, like topple governments and regimes etc, but individually we have only the authority to do what is expedient for us without alienating everyone else around us and causing further problems.

Life can be good and great, life can be whatever you want it to be. Your attitude is of prime importance for that is the culmination of all your thoughts and feelings and mind set rolled into one and projected for the public to see. So if your attitude stinks so do you and no one wants to know you or help you or even bother with you for why should they if you can't meet life even half way. Do you dwell on the negative aspects of life or the positive aspects of life, because whichever one you do dwell upon will decide your course of action and your degree of self esteem. It can get habitual to see negativity and if so it will pull you down, if you tend to see the positive aspects of life, which doesn't mean you don't see or understand the negative aspects, then life will be full of hope and upliftment. The bottom line is it's your life your choice - make sure you make the decisions that serve you well otherwise you'll end up with memories of emptiness which is not what life is all about.

THE MIRAGE EFFECT

Have you ever seen in your dreams a better life? Improvements and had daydreams of possibly better times ahead? If you have then you account for the vast majority of the population, regardless of your trappings and circumstances. Advanced thought is always something nice to behold. In contrast reality is not only a great leveller it puts one into the correct perspective and stops all the excuses or heaven forbid moans of why things are as they are. It's good to encounter both the dreams as it allows our thoughts to take a walk on the wild side and the reality check which keeps us on the straight and narrow, or hopefully so. It's when one interlaces both that troubles start and presumptions and illusions and perceptions take over and smudge the defining lines between fact and fiction. There's a big difference between trying to better yourself or upping your game and living a fantasy. At times life throws a number of obstacles in our pathway some emotional, some financial, some health wise, some relationship / family areas, or whatever else it may happen to be career, location, redundancy, etc, it can be whatever it is to you. Even the smallest of seemingly innocuous things to one person means a great deal to another so as bystanders it's wrong to judge others on what we feel or think.

The mirage effect can be both positive or negative it's how you perceive life, and whilst it is only an affect it can have a profound difference as to how we view life ahead and how indeed we live our life. Furthermore there is the "ripple effect" too, that is whatever we do has repercussions with what's around us, be it circumstantial, friends, family, entertainment, lifestyle, anything in fact. Very little resides in life in isolation, if we attain wealth we generally use it to our advantage and enjoy what it can get us or share it with others and enjoy that pleasure too, unless you are mean. Likewise if you lose or your income or it is greatly reduced then what you can do is somewhat limited and thus you live accordingly or build up debts which has even worse consequences, even if by sheer necessity, but then it's your gamble and you bite the bullet when it all comes crashing down.

Politicians preach about mirage effects, their philosophy of how they want to effect a policy such as in the recent banking scandals by propping up the establishments that caused the problems in the first place. They predominantly failed as greed within the system syphoned off all they could for their own benefit. Many celebrities live within a mirage of life, living what doesn't quite exist, it's all very real but no depth hence the rehab / psycho clinics do a roaring trade. Mirages always look real and very inviting as they appear at a time when circumstances interface to form an illusion of what doesn't exist. The mirage circumstances definitely exist but all else is sadly an effect and no more. It's sad that many people in life perpetually follow effects and illusions in the hope that they are true and they will find what they so desperately seek, and when it appears long coming they then realise that it just maybe all 'pie in the sky' which it is and gross disappointment sets in.

No matter how gruelling it may be reality is your best friend, it will keep you grounded and allow what pleasures you either seek or enjoy to be real and fundamental to whom you are. It will keep friends as friends, it will keep you stable, it will keep you more wholesome and fuel whatever creativity you have within. It will support your life by allowing you to be honest with yourself and stop unnecessary disappointment or let down. It will in fact support all of your life and will still allow you the luxury to daydream at will without fooling yourself or get carried away and fall into an abyss of make believe that's hard to get out of. Being "at one" with yourself is all you can ask, the rest will naturally flow and reside exactly where it needs to be within and without trying to find reasons why or admonish yourself of anything around you or make excuses. It will stop what many harbour "baggage" that's neither necessary or beneficial to anything in your life, being free is allowing yourself to smile to enjoy and be happy, and when those come together the mirages just fade away from whence they came.

THE WEREWOLF EXPERIENCE

Doesn't it appear today that nothing is exactly what it seems, that adverts selling things tell you how cheap they are then the small print ties you into subscription in order to be able to take advantage of such things. Telecoms companies are like that, disingenuous, greedy and deceitful. Cable companies woo you into what they have to offer yet to really enjoy it you have to almost pay a third or more to get what reaches the satisfactory level of comfort and possible usage. Every commercial company is at it, advertise cheap fares yet unless you can book 20 years in advance and take the first morning trip and come home on the last you are no better off at all. It's all small print and exclusions and omissions and not valid and exceptions and whatever else marketing can find to rip you off and try and call premium packaging to make you believe it's all worth while. Food manufacturers show large pictures of food on boxes and increase the size of their packaging to make you believe you are getting more whereas it's often less so that more profit can be made via the fickle punter. It's becoming dog eat dog in the world markets with the banking system still ploughing their way through customers bank accounts to gain more money for doing less, charging for premium account fees and offering products that are worthless and hardly usable. And all the watch dogs and regulators come up with is the same dull boring hype that means they are spineless and wimpish, fearful and cowardly, despite what they will tell you what they have done to date.

A Werewolf is a wolf but with human thought, it's deceptive and evil. No one likes to get less than they thought or to have bought an airline ticked to find at check-in they have to pay a whole shopping list of fees to move onwards. Whatever we pay for whether it's something cheap and silly or prestigious and expensive we do it for a reason and expect those behind the object or service of our desire to be honest and upright with what they are offering, it has to be "fit for use" and that doesn't include last minute essential costly upgrades nor anything more. We don't want hyped or disingenuous facades that have been processed by immoral people in marketing or those in PR who lie to distort what they have been hired for to make the bad news sound more palatable. It all comes out in the end, and whilst people are at times unfairly judged by their personal deeds as opposed to what fabulous things they did professionally, coming clean at least gains one respect, something that's almost unheard of today.

Having said all of that how do we as individuals fair up in the 'fair up' stakes? Are we whiter than white, blemish free, no faults, exemplary bastions of society, honest to a fault, etc. Because it makes a real difference as to how we move forward and how we both enjoy life and how life treats us. Of course we are humanoid and therefore we do have faults built in already, however we also have self restraint, morality, thoughtfulness, compassion, truth, understanding, love, humanitarian instincts for fellow man, etc, and fortunately most people abide by and large by these facets, not all some professions veer towards others dark areas in their versions of truth, as do some if not most religions. If we are not satisfied we must complain, not as a matter of course or to see what we can possibly 'get out of it' but genuinely and say why and say that you think you have either been "oversold" or "deceived" or what was on offer is beyond what is given, which is common with banks and airlines. (The advertising is ahead of the product). You can make a difference, you have no allegiance to any company despite the fact that thy run customer/consumer programmes, you are a number on a database with statistics no more than that. Human interface between such is rare although it does exist in some companies still. It's all about how you respect yourself, don't go around being aggrieved by being let down, state your case, then move on, it really does work, especially if you contact the media about shoddy service / products.
