YOUR RIGHT TO BE WHO YOU ARE

There exists within everyone a facet of their thoughts which includes a degree of insularity, a degree of manipulated thought that comes from either family background, restrictive empty and violent religions like Islam, past experiences that one has never gotten over, or just plain lack of global knowledge - the knowledge that allows a high degree of understanding as to why we do what we do and why others do what they do. Within our thought process their are two or more areas about us that tend to meld our output so that the real true feelings about ourselves never really come to light as they are tinged with personal emotions at a different level. It's hard at times to break away from our personal emotions because that is a reflection of us either generally or temporally, never the less what ever it reflects it's definitely us. We can be incredibly creative, wild deep thinkers, visionaries, intuitives, it matters not, it's how our emotional side is placed that makes what we have as an intrinsic personal feature come alive or remain dull like tarnished silver, from the outside no one can tell what it is beneath the surface. Our emotions can at times lead us astray by tainting whom we are, or we can rest on our emotional stance so that by default we appear dull and dowdy or we can wax lyrical about 'happy' aspects of life and throw in our personal emotions as if it is going to give us a boost - because we need it.

One of the areas where people fall down is a degree of loneliness within themselves, it has nothing to do with being on your own or not having 'friends' around you, (although that has obvious disadvantages) or tons of pseudo acquaintances, it's that personal and private space that needs quenching in the pit of your stomach. Where people are happily partnered there is a different quality to the emotions that many  people use. We are our shop window, everything we do is a reflection of ourselves, so if our shop window is not that hot then that's how we come across. Of course the goods in "our" shop window are on display for a purpose even if it's all done subliminally. We reflect a multitude of different areas and we soon realise that if we put out the wrong image it can have dire consequences. It's how we wear ourselves, two almost identical people wearing the self same thing, or completely the opposite attire will hold themselves differently and it's only the dull that will ponder as to why their image is so, but the recipients viewing each of the appearances will almost immediately recognise what they are seeing and whether it resonates well within. Whilst fashion at any level denotes an image or style what it does not uphold is what lies deep beneath which could be that of an almost desperate and destitute person who is ill, unstable, confused, upset, addictive, etc, and here lies our own ability to be perceptive, as there are always 'give away' and 'tell tale' signs.

Traditional clothing and religious clothing have no base, especially if the litmus test comes into force, i.e. you are shipwrecked on a dessert island and you only have a T-shirt and shorts to wear, then what? If there are excuses in your religious teaching that absolve you from such then it's a lie, because God doesn't have man's failings of making things up as you go along to suite conditions, you either do or you don't. Traditions stink too, they may be colourful and fun but hold no truck with how one lives today, if it 'cramps your style' then it's an evil influence and it's no one else's business as to why you do or don't do what you do. After all it's only you who can live your life, no onlookers or bystanders, including family. In a free society you have the choice to be who you are, in an "un-free" society it's plagued with failure and unhappiness and lack of development and creativity based on a few making the rules "as they see fit" as opposed to allowing individuals choose their own purpose. All societies that are religiously controlled fail, they survive but at the expense of a purposeful life and it's seeded with deep corruption and multi-standard - closed -living.

Being who you are gives a freedom above all else as it upholds you as a person and marks your identity, and whilst some seem oblivious to who they are plodding along in a monochromatic life, it actually says by default that this obliviousness is you. Unfortunately some have a concocted idea of who they are and the reality of who they are differs considerable which instantly lets themselves down. Then there are those whereby freedom is but a word, never actually encompassing anything other than a concept that is never realised, this shows to all who view them, yet rarely to those who hold such opinions themselves. The best of all wherever you are is your true self, for if that is genuine no one is going to get it wrong and ultimately you will be trusted for who you are and not what others think you are. Your ability to go forward will always be enhanced by being yourself because it will come naturally to you, even if at times where presentation is important that warm degree of self will outshine those who try to be something they are not, which always comes to light eventually.

BLINDED BY YOUR OWN THOUGHTS

It's becoming more and more common that people are going around with thoughts which are almost etched in stone, that their views, their ideologies, their opinions, their whatever it is is what should be and unless anyone else has a valid reason as to why it isn't then a collision course is in the making. It happens too frequently with people who are either not happy, are naturally self opinionated, have experienced something not so savoury in life or are just plain dull, or have a technical mind that has very definite and defined views or perhaps a bit of all those things. It's quite hard going when encountering such people as they seem to be forever drawing back in life as opposed to moving forward, always with tinges of negativity as if the phrase "I told you so" was their answer to everything. Religious people can be like that especially those of Middle Eastern origin always frightened, always used to restrictions, always with threads of violence here and there, and so it goes on, falling behind everyone else. But it's not only that what makes people fall short of their own goals, after all whatever you believe or do is up to you, you are no one's slave nor do you need permission from anyone to do what you need to do. Whether or not others believe your stance is a different matter, but permission to go ahead is free for you to embark upon whatever you like, religion or not.

Dictatorships, religious organisations, political parties, etc often have leaders who have a vision of what they would like to do and why whether it's right or wrong, it's their vision and so ensconced in it are they that there are no half way measures. There are even more humble people around us who have similar ideals in life, taking life down to a check list of do's and don'ts, who try their best to make things go their way and are often very pushy as to getting it, falling out of favour en-route with those who disagree or have their own versions of how it should be which are quite different and distinct. In life we either gain friends and acquaintances and possibly onlookers on to our side and go forward with some support, or we bludgeon forward regardless knowing that no one will support our purely selfish ideals so we assume the worst and hope for the best and it then becomes an almost 'free for all' in that one really doesn't care anymore if those en-route to their own self glory get rustled and hurt in the process.

There is a fine line distinction between a scientist going all out with single minded courage - often against incredible odds - to fine a cure or answer to something of a technical nature, and there are many examples of this in history. Then there are those mainly in business who will stop at virtually nothing to attain their goal, African leaders are doing this all the time, and current Middle Eastern regimes are holding on to dear life because they don't want their cosy monopolistic bubble to burst. It's difficult talking to those who have made up their minds already, it's like the saying about the "wise old owl", "the light's on but nobody at home" and such is the case with these pre-disposed thought provoked people. Clarity of vision coupled with open thought allows the infinitesimal permutations of life to come to us, it opens the doors to scenarios and options that we never knew existed. It brings people and solutions closer to us and allows our own self to meld with a higher status of thought and ability often at levels we would not have previously have dreamed of. Open vision allows us to both commune with life and communicate better and at the same time be more accessible which has the elevation of making us appear more human in the process, which many can seem often aloof to.

There is nothing wrong with having a vision, there are many people who are naturally "visionaries" in life and can see with incredible accuracy the future events of many areas, be it corporate, financial, global, society, and others. Often such people are snubbed by academia and those at middle management levels as it's way beyond their comprehension and often frightens them instilling insecurity at visionary thought itself. There is a vast difference between being visionary and having your own designer thoughts based upon what you think, the latter often leads to disaster and mayhem, whilst those that have a natural 'feel' for what's to be are more often than not wildly successful - eventually, and it draws others into their success too, not so with the "what I think" brigade. Greed today is the corporate God, reduce ingredients / size / performance / shape, anything to enhance the financial edge to the extent that marketing is almost akin to daylight robbery, even supermarkets conjure up price structures and sales techniques to off load more products that baffle the average consumer. It's deceit at the knife edge, no morals no sympathy it's pure business, where Internet FREE downloads always have somewhere the pop up that needs a payment, except spam and that's always been a free download.

GLOBAL UNREST NOT YOUR UNREST

The world as such has a life of its own, it will survive whether we as humans do or do not. There is definitely a move of global turbulence afoot. It's not because the Arab Spring which will still not resolve the underlying problems with the Arab world, it will just shift the movement and placement so that it looks better from afar, Islam is unstable - full stop. And yes it may open up the markets and give degrees of freedom and even possibly adaptations of real democracy not potted versions of it. But where any country has an overwhelming Islamic populous failure and unfairness, insecurity and instability will be the end result, there isn't one stable Islamic country on planet earth. But even in the West there is another turbulence that's growing daily, and political rhetoric is but that, empty words even if spoken with sincerity, if one can say that politics and sincerity can go hand in hand today. There is a real lack of World Class Statesmen and Women today, the quality of such in the USA and Europe is at an all time low as is the increase in corruption, bribery, self conceitedness and all the rest. That's not to say that both areas don't do well, they do despite the global greed of the manipulated financial sectors, which have yet to be accounted for by any government.

The young are finding it more difficult today than at any time, and whilst opportunities to start your own business are always available, it's not a mass structured view that will help or assist the many. The Third World countries will for the foreseeable future still be Third World countries even though various attributes within them may have improved the ratio between them and the Developed world will remain a constant. If it wasn't for Western Charities much of Africa would be in a far worse state that it is even now. Inhumanity and avariciousness are becoming more and more the trade marks of leaders and companies, where shareholder value far outweighs that of employee value. Where a countries overseas policy is at times in direct contrast with home policy, all this adds up to the "Unhappiness"  of the nation. The unhappiness of the nation can produce drastic and permanently damaging results that mere policing will have no effect whatsoever.

Watching the international television channels one can see the manufactured waffle that Public Relation statements and other Press Releases contain, saying what is expedient to hopefully close an issue and quell unrest, but it's no more true than telling someone who is going to die that they will be falling into a long sleep, just to avoid coming out with the truth. The quality of journalism is almost on a par at times with that of game shows, where the "press back rooms" sift and sort through what they deem will be a better delivery of a topic, hyped of course and a few imponderable statements added here and there to make it sound far more important and far reaching that the 'one liner' it could have been. Although marketing the news is an art form itself, depicting death in as many ways as one can imagine just to 'heighten' vocalised statements. After a while one becomes immune to it all, and in fact it becomes so depressing and so out of one's hands that unless watching the news is habitual, it's at times worthy of not even watching it.

Good news doesn't travel well, unfortunately bad news placed incorrectly and insincerely can have devastating effects especially on those who are troubled with where they are in life already. Being "economical" with anything has consequences, with life around you it can induce states of depression, fear, panic, anger, hatred, insurrection, and a host of other feelings. There's nothing worse than tainting life by deed and suggestion and seeding possibilities that are only that to destabilise and produce discord and disharmony. The increase in governmental and corporate mindlessness and irresponsibility is forever increasing yet governments do nothing at any level to give a feeling of security, harmony, positivity, replying via their own weakness to try and push through unpleasant bills and statutes by enhancing fear within the process and potential consequences. The real backbone of any society are the people themselves, and in turn they look up to 'strong leadership' to give them that overall feeling of inner peace. But when your own government gives your own finances and support as a first call to others then they have by default lost all credibility. It wouldn't happen in any home, so is this difference what they call "politics" the new dirty game based upon ego and self. Wanted World Class Leaders and Politicians - you must be out there somewhere - please apply!!!!!!

PEOPLE IN CONFLICT

We have a global community at our finger tips, world events relayed by endless magazines and media stations all with their own slant on the news and their own flavour of reporting it. We predominantly subscribe to the various media types and styles that suite our own thought processes as it's easier to digest and follow. However at the same time we still like to read the "other" publications / news items to see alternative view points. The base of much of what is put out to us is that of conflicting worlds, rich meets poor, east meets west, success meets failure,  and of course the clash of religions is always there, the progressive religions meets head on the repressive religions - almost an east meets west yet again in style and character. The changeability of life and the world at large is as such that everything is speeding up, the corporate structures in business, the world finance situation, the climate, health, fighting and dictatorial rule, populations challenging staid family run autocratic countries, wars between fraction groups, the race is on. The migration of people' across the globe is forever increasing changing the endemic structures of life and thought in some countries beyond the comprehension of native citizens. Weak ineffective governments ensue in failing in coping with such and thus undue tensions and unbalance arises because of it, in most cases in the short term it's all a detrimental step, like everything only time will allow a reasonable cross flow of unity, although some countries harbour community unrest for centuries. The worst aspect of any intermingling of people's is that of religion, where old staid meets the new and the old staid camp never fully integrate and are always the "lower class" as they can't or possibly don't want to upgrade to modernity and thus have to endure the price they pay for it all. Always living in the shadows of those that create and bring innovation to the fore they are at times permanent recipients of life's hand downs.

There are some countries that are permanently in conflict, they have a duality of resident, those that live within the detritus that abounds and often have a fairly good life, and those that are part of the ongoing upheaval because it's a part of their life, even though rarely anything positive comes out of it. The losers are the masses who remain uneducated and are modern day peasants who see, hear and look but are able to do nothing other than survive from their lowly jobs of self livelihood at doing whatever they do. There are still 27,000,000 black slaves in Islamic countries today. Governments of such countries are almost always corrupt because they can be, because they can see glaring differences and are privy to the means of spoils because of their position. They are also egotists, and backhanders which are rife in the Middle East and Africa in particular forever stopping real progress as somewhere down the line even charities get their funds or products syphoned off to the fortunate few. The overseeing of aid fund isn't always a guarantee of fair play, and even the EU Commission doesn't have audited books to the level of costs and expenditures that most governments wouldn't, it has already EU3bn unaccounted for expenses. Religious organisations are also to blame as they are inept at foreseeing a future so prefer to keep their worshipers festooned in a time warp of religious fear and lowliness, too much education and their congregation would grasp the bigger picture for themselves and move on. The flow of science, technology, lifestyles, global travel and media has overtaken most religions who live in a sterile world of their own and in real terms are far from Godly people, their leaders see themselves are God's representatives as opposed to God's servants and here lies an area which they have self cultivated in order to seemingly keep a degree of authority and power, it's fading fast.

Home life, business life and the state of our national health whether mental or physical or indeed both is under attack as medical science wants us to live longer. Once we lived the way we chose then we died, now we have a formulae or regime on how to live to stave off certain conditions and improve our lot, whilst at the same time manufactures plough us with unhealthy foods mainly aiming at the lower end of the market of convenience at a price. It can be devastating to be in a conflict with family, friends, business, life, countries, as it throws our whole system into a mode which is based on rather unsavoury thoughts and feelings, the niceties of life tend to stop flowing once we have decided that we are in conflict and our ideology changes too. To commerce human beings are but fodder to gain a revenue from, to religions they preach one thing sometimes sincerely but haven't the personal nor professional ability to deliver it honestly, and then we have the media who are happy to be whores and game for anything including the ZOO TV slots making fun of unfortunate people for cheap but profitable television, no morals, cold, callous, insincere, thoughtless - yes - just bring it on. The same TV companies that seek to make award winning documentaries about overseas exploitation of humans and people trafficking are ironically supported by their own immorality at home.

We need to keep our wits about us as to the real truth that lies behind the stories. Whilst a story may purvey the truth via  the merits of its content, the bigger picture when placing all the stories together depicts often a far different picture at times acting as a catalyst for one another and accelerating great disharmony, disruption, unhappiness, subterfuge, and the rest. The "gatekeepers" those that are in positions to judge ironically are usually the most inept having an 'overall' view of what they are judging yet are so off the mark as they can't literally 'see' cleverness or brilliance or 'out of the box' thinkers. Their own inner judgment is impervious to such people and thus reject often emotionally people who should be given prime time and not be placed upon the reject list. Conflict is nothing new, it's been around since year dot, there are even programmes for conflict management, and border wars still happen based upon who has this and who has that, and so it all goes on. Most of us get in a bit of a huff about something perhaps even literally trivia and egotistically lead thoughts but we just get over it and move on, which is how it should be. Life isn't for harbouring negative emotions, some base their lives on conflict and let it rage within as if it's their sole reason to live, but we steer clear of such people - don't we? At the end of the day life has a strange way of readdressing balance, although it may not be in our life time, but in between we need to enjoy life and not be embroiled in a conflict of our own and miss out grandly because our interests are vested in negativity. Enjoying life to the best you can allows one to see over and above the obstacles in front and often the reward for that is somewhat sweeter than one could have imagined.

TOUGH LOVE

One of the aspects of love is that we all want it, some even crave it to the point that they almost obliterate what it means and thus becomes an obsession. Love is an intrinsic part of whom we are, it's an inherent trait within us and we need it to keep level headed and stable, it's the only thing that really quenches that void in the pit of our stomach and has lasting results with no negative side effects. Love is abound in many guises and is not often associated with everyday life other than those who are significant in our lives. But if love were something we had in our hearts in general and not selfishly withheld there would be no wars, not corruption, nor the feudal aspects of Middles Eastern countries and  witheld freedom, there would be no banking anomalies or deceitful workings against the public, in fact the world would be a much better place by far. We wouldn't even have the current "Lifestyle" TV programmes that take advantage of unfortunate people and portray it as ZOO television for voyeurs.  However, let's get real and take the understanding that this is not the case, so how does it affect us. The most important part of love is that it never runs out, the more you lavish love on life and others the more it's replenished so there is no excuse for withholding it. The other aspect is that we not only feel better within, and our immune system is strengthened, but we get more help, are far more "lucky" and in general we see life come what may as a better place. With a "brighter" attitude we "see" opportunities, ways forward, more choices, have more ideas and generally are open to far better things than those who wallow in their own misery and self pity and thus miss out of all the good things which pass them by and find potential owners who are awaiting them.

Love is just that, Love, there are NO conditions in the ultimate version and if you think straight away that as such this version is never attainable then you already are thinking in a divisive way and that you want love but you definitely want strings attached to YOUR version of it, shame on you. Failure is almost a pre-requisite for such thoughts as Love is already tarnished in your mind by the narrowness and insecurity you have allowed to generate within. If you don't let go of the past your future life will always have elements of "second best" no matter what you do, most celebrities actually build a life of failed relationships because of this inner thought process, as an example. We all display aspects of love pertinent to whom we are, we all are different and whereas someone who is outwardly flamboyant doesn't necessarily have any more love or sincerity than someone who is somewhat reticent and shy yet could hold the deepest and most sincere form of love within. Love makes us approachable and open to conversation even if we are having an "off day" love makes us able to approach others because our motives are sincere even if we feel at times we are pushing it a bit, those we talk to can detect subconsciously where we are coming from. We should never judge others by what we think our version of love is all about, different cultures, ethnicity's, races, etc, are brought up with varying standards of "instilled versions" of love, some are unfortunately repressive because of such, but that still doesn't mean that what they hold true within isn't sincere and wholesome. And again those that smile a lot, are very touchy feely, laugh at anything etc, can be the most insincere, lonely and untrustworthy people around, to activate all the positive asapects of life love has to be involved. Ironically very religious people find love difficult to cope with even though it's the base for all religions and ironically too can be quite evil in their thoughts, the Middle East is a glaring example.

We see love in all it's guises and forms, even those scripted versions from Hollywood depicted by actors and actresses who literally act love out, and have little if no understanding of the personal depth of love or for at least any sustainable time. We see drama based upon "crimes of passion", again acted out, although very real in society, and we see religious communities with 'forced marriages', Izzat (honour killings), repression, even female circumcision, all via those that deem love as a secondary aspect of life and those that implement such things are usually third world and failures in life. Where there is an absence of love the dark side of life emerges such as in the Middle East and North Africa the Islamic countries where control is still of paramount importance and love is but a world spoken about but not used, where breaking ranks or personal freedom is dealt with with anger and not compassion, the actions depict the words not the other way around. Love is a free word it doesn't control because people don't want to do bad or underhanded things therefore control isn't needed, the moment one starts to control, love is compromised and then the downhill spiral starts to extend faster and faster. It doesn't mean there aren't rules and regulations but the atmosphere is free from religious zealots and egotistical governance.

WHERE IS THE L-O-V-E-?

Love is a very emotive word and at the same times it's a very much overrated and abused word. We see Hollywood movies whereby people live and die almost within five minutes of each other supposedly based upon love, it makes good pictorial content but the ethics of same are as redundant as the people who created them. We see and hear the hypocritical words and deeds of religious people who "Kill" in the name of their beloved God, the God they try to tell us is full of love and compassion and greatness, but it sounds in reality more of worshiping the Devil because that's what he is supposed to do. We see families selling their children into slavery and prostitution, we see dictators who supposedly love their country until they get threatened by their own population for not taking care of them and not giving them their freedom then they suddenly turn and kill all those that they are supposedly looking after, such as in the Middle East and Africa. We see families from predominantly the Asian continent still ruling the roost on their own offspring to an extent if they break the mould they disown them or in some circumstances kill them, such is their pathetic love and their totally inhuman and wasted lives. We see robbers and murderers and rapists doing what they do for their own gain. We see Internet fraud and underhand banking deals by the major banks implemented deliberately with finance deals for sheer person gain and greed, and we see insurance companies issues insurance policies that make it almost impossible to claim for such is the small print restrictions, and so it goes on.

Love is both a simple and complex word, love for mankind is what the human race is based upon, for without it we are but droids or robots just living to live. We can't possibly love everyone or even large numbers of people even if we feel compassionate about them because our minds are just not physically capable of such. We can however feel very passionate about individuals or small groups predominantly family groups as we can because of the size and numbers empathise with what plight others might be going through, even if we can't fully grasp the enormity of it all or the exact degree of hurt or feeling involved. God has a bad name today because God is pure love in ANY religion - but religions are man made - i.e. there are bits added by man to the original books of God (regardless of who or what you believe), hence so many interpretations. Many people quote "nice" scriptural verses but they are by and large hypocritical in that whilst it sounds good and indeed often is, it's a statement about them and often covers up their own failures in life and their religion as a whole as opposed to being an expression of fact. God DOESN'T work for the vast amount of global believers because the bottom line is they really don't believe, they go through the motions, they say mostly correct things but the conduit to God is LOVE, and they just don't possess it. Many people hide behind God and say "He'll do this to you" or "God will punish you" or whatever but those are traits of hatred, and unless God told you personally that this or that will happen then you should keep your big mouth shut. Knowing verses about your religious books means nothing, a CD can hold all the knowledge accurately but it won't effect anything, it's what comes from the heart, and some religions suffer the biggest deprivations, repressions, failures, alienation, outmoded structures and debased societies, tyranny, authoritarianism, lack of freedom, etc, and this is not God's will, this is mans own evil deed, it has to be it's people controlling people, we all know who they are it's no big secret. People who defend their respective God(s) are usually those who have fear in their hearts and the fear is that nothing is happening to them that is good, God needs no defence, if He created the Universe then you are of no importance in getting upset about it as it will bring on fear and anger and that's not love. On average "atheists or agnostics" have a happier life than the religious people who forever talk about God and see no positive result, because it's their own fault. Indoctrination is the worst form of education, parrots can recite what they have been taught but haven't a clue what it means.

Love is also evident in our daily lives, something that is very close to us all, it's how we interact with life. We can as some do go around with "anger" in our hearts or we can transcend that (and no excuses why you can't) whilst others have a defined better stance on life even if they are going through trials of their own. Happy people are healthier, they receive more attention in life and people like to help happy people more than unhappy people, the reason being that unhappy people are usually more selfish and ungrateful and thus the reciprocation of love is not in evidence. The general goodness of people  abounds the world over, we all like to think we are "nice" people but in reality many are not. It's not that they are bad people but they have an attitude that is definitely not conducive to getting on well with others or even sharing conversations, unless it's all about them. Our attitude is the outward sign of whom we are, quick to smile, to help, to listen, to understand and not keep "oneself to oneself" as that is not communing with life and it's nothing to do with being shy or reticent it's purely an attitude stance. Loving yourself, which is not the same as having an narcissistic complex is also important because if you can't love yourself you find it difficult to love others and receive their love too. Love as an element in every area of our life enriches it, enhances it and promotes it, it's only when there is an absence of it that one finds a void within that can't be quenched by any other means. It's this void which strikes hard and causes depression, anxiety, desperation and all the negative traits that give rise to unrest and lack of purpose, just surviving isn't a life.

OUR RELATIONSHIPS IN LIFE

From the day we are born to the day we die we have an abundance of relationships with life, life being our environment, people, circumstances, ourselves, our future, our thoughts and feelings and anything else we want to throw into the pot. If we are religious then we have an ethereal relationship also which can have a profound effect upon how we move forward and our stability. It's how we manage those relationships that makes us who we are and gives us the ability to enjoy and understand life. So many people get bogged down in the minutia of life that they never see the bigger picture thus they have no where to go nor to steer to so they just revolve around in a deja vu scenario getting more listless, apathetic and dull and fuelling their negative emotions in the process. Once we allow any degree of negativity to take a predominant part in our thought process all hope flies out of the window and we become jaundiced, tetchy, acerbic, bitchy, irritable, grumpy, disgruntled and all the other pathetic stuff one does to try and feel smart, but of course it's far from smart it's futile and debased. Successful people try to get on with everyone, they make an effort even if they have to force a smile, but they do because they know it really does help both in their own way forward and as a conduit to meeting other people en-route in life that will help them and possibly make new friends in the process. It's not rocket science, it's more of balancing the ego and self determined mind blocks that many put up which hinders their way forward. After all everything we do no matter what starts with a thought in our mind, even if we steal that thought from elsewhere, it's generation of action is what we do ourselves, no one else.

Women's magazines are crammed full of peoples relationship problems, pages in newspapers have an "Agony Aunt" column answering such questions, and there are the "on-line" variety that provide more hyped up commercial smut guaranteed to almost rivet you to your seat as they unravel tawdry events that one hardly new existed or even could exist. The more we become "voyeurs" in life the less significant we become, our morals, ideals, potential fades away into insignificance and our relationship with life becomes infiltrated with other people's ideas and what we have read from the pre-manufactured garbage that we call 'light entertainment'. More people are becoming more confused over the simplest of things, even the basic stance of just living. Minds clouded with degenerate thoughts of what some screwed up celebrity did, or what someone else did none of which has anything to do whatsoever with the reader, even if the situations ran on a parallel course. How we commune with life is essential, it doesn't matter "what our lot is" or how we think of ourselves which could range from illusions of grandeur to gross insecurity and lacking in self esteem, it's often only what we think as opposed to what we know, and their lies a massive difference. What we know is what's going to work, what we think already smacks of endless possibilities of failure. Understanding our life relationship can at times bring to the fore stark realities of where we literally are which can at times be disconcerting, however, understanding that is also liberating too for it gives us a knowledge and strength to change it all. Change can only take place when credentials and circumstances are right and more often than not it's never when we want them, but by diligent thought it does happen, with passive thought you just delude yourself.

We are all different, our attitudes and aptitudes makes us who we are, most of us are definitely not that "one size fits all" type that self help books think they can teach us to be, they can't. We know deeply what we should do but at times it's very difficult indeed to do, however that doesn't mean at all that there are not other and far more palatable options, because there are, and we need to seek them out. Being positive is the very secret to gaining ground, the merest hint of scepticism is like putting sugar on your bacon or salt on your ice cream, it just takes the edge off what you are trying to do, even if the flavour appears interesting. We need to feel as comfortable as possible about who we are and what's around us, even if we are a few pounds overweight or not doing what we want, those are little things in the bigger picture. If we forever dwell on the little things we miss all the bigger things and then all the opportunities and escape routes will zoom past us to those who are more receptive. We need to commune and have a good relationship with life no matter how much more effort we need to put into it than some others might. If a relationship goes sour, and they do for whatever reason, even because of the silliest of things, move on, never dwell on the past. Everything in life has a time scale, a day, month, year, 10 years, etc, the future lies ahead not behind, crying over 'spilt milk' won't clear the mess up.

Every relationship we have be it buying from the store to a new car to meeting strangers in a work environment means we need to use both inherent skills, intuitive skills, a LOT of common sense which seems to be lacking in many, we have to swallow our pride if our contacts don't meet up to our expectations and just get on with being successful and not be a smart Alec that ends up doing nothing and achieving nothing. Our personal relationships need to be tethered between free will and lots of "give and take", and how we make any relationship work is purely down to us, even if at the end we have had enough because our partner just doesn't give an inch, but then why did we enter into such an unknowlegeable realtionship because we thought it would all change? Being moody is confing your relationship within yourself, it's selfish, self centred and shows that one can't trust the other person implicitly as there are always selfish conditions to be applied in order to make them happy - ignore them - their selfishness is not your problem. The end of the day we want to be happy, the best and easiest way possible, make it so. If someone is a relgious fanatic also stay clear they are the devil in disguise.

THE WILL TO LIVE

It’s not that one has the will not to live but the thought that goes through the mind is literally “The Will To Live” life can at times seem all so daunting, out of reach, where everything is at arms length and the inner impetus to go forward is thwarted by lethargy and ‘what’s the point’. Coupled with gross indecision and a total lack of knowledge as to what to do next and how and where, and all the rest, nothing quite seems to fit into place and all around life appears to be moving on for everyone else and you are stuck right where you are, almost super-glued to the spot. Of course all of this can’t be further from the truth, life is experienced from within your own mind no where else, no one can see life from your perspective and why should they, they have their own. How we all view life is both complex and simple at the same time, it’s simple in that what we all see is exactly the same, how we register it all can be as different as chalk and cheese so it’s vital that we take care of our minds and not let them play tricks on us or allow our sluggish feelings to take us into a state of self pity, which is quite common. Our backgrounds can play a big part in our visualisation of the future, if we come from a somewhat negative background then we are likely to have that stance within us, and similarly if we come from a positive background then we are prone to being more positive in life and don’t let the knocks and setbacks hinder our way in going forward, knowing that all we experience is grist for the mill in making us stronger and more resilient and knowledgeable. Whereas the negative idiots fall back on “why me” all the time as if they have been singled out. What negative people do is to literally selfishly single themselves out and thus make matters worse by churning over and over again their predicament and mixing it with a bit of ego, arrogance, self esteem (or lack of it), and the rest and formulating some kind of monster thoughts which then take on a life of their own, and in reality don’t exist. It’s often this self created world that many live in and then wonder why life doesn’t have the sparkle it should, and often letting themselves down thinking that there is some magic formula to success whereas it most cases it’s purely down to diligence and ongoing pursuits that wins the day.

Life is crammed full of contradictions, truths and untruths and its disseminating which is which and why when even plausible aspects of life can be full of remorseful endings and the seemingly simplest of things can be full of subliminal meanings that fast forward us on to bigger and better things. The press and media don’t help as everything they do and say has been “treated” with ‘lipgloss’ to make it appear either more sexy, more horrifying, more desperate or more gloomy to give it added depth and to enhance what often is humdrum comment, real news speaks for itself without the fanfare of hyped emotion to try and give kudos and meaning to the subject matter. We should elevate ourselves from being passive sponges absorbing everything around us regardless of its content and stick to what is important to us, ourselves. If we can’t take refuge in ourselves and be “at one” with ourselves and be happy, regardless of our circumstances, what can we do, happiness is self generated no one can give it to us, so we are always going to be the product of lacklustre and an inner fatigue feeling that life must be better than this, when in reality it is. There are no quick fixes in life, there are highs and lows, but no quick fixes even winning the lottery despite it sounding grand has on most people a long term detrimental effect as they can’t cope, they think they can until it happens then the story changes over night. Our perceptions can deal a deathly blow to reality and if we don’t take a reality check at times we lure ourselves into a mind set of fantasy and then we really lose the plot big time. If we become stable in our thought process then we are better at looking after others, communing with life and seeing the bigger picture, whereas negative minded people pass by then wonder why nothing ever happens.

Hubble, bubble, toil and struggle, is that you? Do you wax lyrical about how you are dragging yourself along in life, that others are getting this n’ that, and you have been shunted into a siding and left there? Well, you haven’t been left anywhere you didn’t want to be, no-one shunted you into anything, no-one lives your life, no-one has an agenda for you - why should they - they have more important things to do like looking after their lot. It’s nothing to do with God, if you believe then you have free-will, and then you must have faith, but you obviously don’t otherwise you wouldn’t be whinging and moaning you’d be believing, so that puts the ball firmly back into your own court. Mild depression, apathy, lowness of self, little going at the moment, people around you are glum, circumstances not so hot either, and so it goes on, but our feelings are just emotional, and we only have to have one bit of good news and all the negativity falls away, at least for a while such is the power of self thought. Nations thrive on overall positivity that’s why the West always does better than most other countries because there’s an impetus overall that propels them forward, negativity attracts negativity and that’s in some cases ingrained into cultures that are today outmoded and defunct, yet exude parameters and ritualistic and cultural diktat that gives rise to hurt, stress, guilt and the rest and where that four letter-word is overlooked - love - in favour of old selfish protocols. We have but one life so it’s imperative that we enjoy it not dread it, even when things go wrong we don’t have to make a meal out of it otherwise we establish it further as a situation of greater importance then give it gravitas and it then starts to grow into something that we live within even after it has diminished and is no longer. Those that make the grade seek only the future, the past is literally history, an area we can’t enter anyone other than via our own emotions, others can’t join us in that so it’s all pointless and futile to our future happiness. The Will To Live, there’s no other option than to live it as best you can evey day, that way it just gets better.
